**Position Description:**
Penn Medicine - The Heart Group of Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or PhysicianAssistant to join our Heart Failure and Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) team. As part of a highly productive cardiology group consisting of 30 Physicians and 26 Nurse Practitioners, our heart failure team offers sub-specialty clinics in the areas of pulmonary hypertension, adult congenital heart disease, cardio-oncology, maternal cardiology and VAD. With the capabilities to offer a full spectrum of mechanical circulatory support devices, we thrive on innovation and state-of-the-art technology and are proud to serve some of the longest surviving destination therapy patients in the country. Our group is nationally recognized for the lowest heart failure readmission rates in the country. Established in 2005 as one of the earliest community hospitals to implant VADs, our program collaborates with three MCD cardio-thoracic surgeons offering all available BTT and DT platforms. As a forward-thinking group, our team participates in over 20 clinical trials, encourages and supports research endeavors. We collaborate with Penn Medicine's Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology team regularly to improve quality of life and a better life expectancy for heart failure patients.
Our APPs enjoy collaborative practice with a high degree of autonomy. APPs round on inpatients, participate in consultations, and coordinate discharges. The APP will see patients in the outpatient heart failure clinic and VAD clinic.
**Hours:** This position is full-time, usual hours 0730-1730 (10-hour shifts); 8 shifts in a 2-week period. VAD call is one week per month and shared with other VAD APPs. This responsibility includes answering emergency VAD patient calls and nursing calls. The on-call VAD APP is available to cover inpatient VAD emergency procedures and admissions to the hospital during off hours.

+ Valid Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner license and Certificate of Prescriptive Authority in Pennsylvania

**Position Description:**
Penn Medicine - The Heart Group of Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time APP to join our Electrophysiology team. As part of a highly productive cardiology group consisting of 34 Physicians and 28 Nurse Practitioners, our EP team offers both inpatient and outpatient care for patients with heart rhythm disorders. We currently have 4 EP physicians, and 5 EP nurse practitioners. Working with four state-of-the art EP labs, we have one of the highest volume conduction system pacing programs in the country for the last 5 years. Our EP physicians perform all forms of ablation procedures and device implants. Our APPs implant loop recorders in the hospital setting. In addition, our APP team works both inpatient and outpatient, seeing patients with a variety of heart rhythm disorders including sinus node dysfunction, atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, devices, and syncope. The APP team also collaborates with our pacemaker/ device technicians that perform the device monitoring and remote monitoring. Our cardiology practice is very active in clinical research, and opportunities/ trials abound for those who are interested.
Our APPs enjoy a collaborative practice with a high degree of autonomy. APPs round on inpatients, participate in consults, and coordinate discharges. APPs see patients in the outpatient EP clinic. Current ratio is approximately 60% inpatient and 40% outpatient. Our specialty cardiology teams assist with general cardiology patients care as needed.
**Hours:** This position is full time, usual hours 0730-1730. 10-hour shifts - 8 shifts in a 2-week period. Occasional weekends and holidays/off shifts.

**Position Description:**
Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Physicians Infectious Diseases is seeking a full-time PhysicianAssistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team. Our team of 6 Physicians and 2 Advanced Practice Providers work closely together to provide expert diagnosis, treatment and management of patients with acute and chronic diseases such as MRSA, HIV, Tuberculosis, and more. Our providers manage outpatient IV antibiotic therapy on a routine basis, along with providing supportive treatment advice to other LGHP providers via e-consults on a daily basis. Our office also offers pre-travel counselling and vaccines.
This position is located at Suburban Outpatient Pavilion. Patients are seen in outpatient office setting or in conjunction with the Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health Hyperbarics and Wounds Care Center. This position is primarily outpatient with the option to rotate into the hospital setting for patient rounding and to complete new consults.

Summary:
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine has an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or PhysicianAssistant to join the Advance Practice Team in Consultative Cardiology at our HUP Cedar location.
This is a unique opportunity to work in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Outpatient responsibilities include care for patients with cardiac diagnoses like CAD, atrial fibrillation, valvular disease, heart failure, and structural heart disease. This will be achieved through office visits, review of testing, phone triage, and ongoing patient follow-up. There will be a combination of independent practice as well as collaborative clinics with a physician partner. Inpatient responsibilities will include daily rounds on cardiovascular patients in a consultative fashion.
This position requires a high level of independence but is well supported with a collaborative and multi-disciplinary practice model. The high acuity clinical practice setting is dynamic, fast-paced, and high pressure. Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a strong medical and pharmacology knowledge are essential. In this role, there will also be a tremendous professional growth potential and the opportunity to participate in Penn Medicine's tripartite mission of clinical care, research, and education. Members of the team participate in a full range of quality initiatives, are encouraged to become active members of professional societies like the American College of Cardiology (ACC) and the American Heart Association (AHA). All nurse practitioners and physicianassistants will function under the guidelines as designed by the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center medical staff guidelines and are credentialed through that body. The CRNP or PA-C hired by the Department of Medicine, Division of Cardiology will be held accountable through a formal job description, through the delineation of privileges, and through their agreement with their collaborating/supervising physician who has initiated a Collaborative Practice Agreement. All clinical work hours and associated requirements will be defined and managed by the Clinical Manager for Heart and Vascular Advanced Practice, and within the human resource guidelines.

The Heart and Vascular intensive care unit (HVICU) at the University of Pennsylvania is looking for an Advanced Practitioner to join our health care delivery team. The HVICU is a 32 bed unit. We provide care for patients undergoing cardiac and vascular procedures, including heart transplants, lung transplants, adult congenital surgery, and complex aortic procedures. Our team is composed of intensivists, surgical and anesthesia residents, and advanced practice providers
The position of the advanced practice (AP) provider in the H&V SICU is that of leader, teacher, and care provider. In close partnership and collaboration with the intensivist and surgical physician groups we provide world class care to some of the most acutely ill patients in the country who are undergoing coronary revascularization, complex aortic surgery, cardiac and thoracic transplants. You will also be managing patients requiring mechanical support such as VAD's and ECMO. The AP is skilled at invasive procedures
including central lines, dialysis catheters, arterial lines and the use of bedside flouroscopy. Working closely with physician providers at many levels we are an integral piece of a multidisciplinary team.

The Cardiac Intensive Care Unit Team has an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or PhysicianAssistant to join their team. This service is a tertiary referral center for cardiogenic shock, acute coronary syndrome, and pulmonary embolism from much of South Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Common diagnoses you will manage include: cardiogenic shock, acute myocardial infarction, high risk pulmonary embolism, post cardiac arrest, cardiac arrhythmias, cardiac tamponade, and complications with LVADs. Devices managed will include pa catheters, catheter directed lytics, intra-aortic balloon pumps, impellas, LVADs, trans-venous pacemakers, and ventilators.
You will work alongside a care team composed of cardiologists, fellows, hospitalist and other APPs.
You will be responsible for: patient management, clinical decision making, bedside procedures (including central lines, dialysis catheters, arterial lines) and teaching of patients, family and staff.
You will have opportunities for professional growth and development are available through research, lecturing, publications and involvement in department and hospital projects and committees.
We have an active cardiology group with specialists in cardiac critical care, heart failure (including pulmonary hypertension, cardiac amyloidosis, and an active LVAD program), electrophysiology, and interventional cardiologist performing complex coronaries (including CTOs), structural heart disease (mitraclips, TAVRs, and tricuspid percutaneous interventions), pulmonary embolism interventions (including catheter directed lysis, and percutaneous thrombectomy) and peripheral vascular interventions (including lysis, percutaneous peripheral and carotid stenting) who's patients all are cared for in the cardiac ICU.
Clinical work hours include days, nights, weekends and holidays and 3 to 4 shifts per week.
**Minimum Requirements:**

+ Pennsylvania licensure and certification as an ACNP or PA-C before start date

Summary:
+ The Otorhinolaryngology Department (ENT) at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania has an exciting opportunity for an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) who has an First Assist certification or PhysicianAssistant (PA-C) to join their team of board certified surgeons and Advanced Practice Providers.
+ The ENT team at HUP is part of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology and provides care to patients undergoing elective head and neck reconstructive surgery for complex cancers of the head and neck structures, as well as general ENT procedures (including sinus surgery, vocal cord repair, CSF repairs, skull-based tumor resections, etc.)
+ This unique role will not only assist on the inpatient service but will help to see new consults directed towards the ENT service from the Emergency Department and inpatient services, as well as assist in the operating room when needed. As an NP/PA on this service you will be part of a high functioning inter-professional team who is responsible for the management of complex and critically ill ENT patients.

The Emergency Department (ED) at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) is looking for a full time PhysicianAssistant or Nurse Practitioner to work three 12-hour shifts per week with variable/rotating shift times. Clinical shifts would be across multiple downtown Penn EDs, with the primary site being HUP, Presbyterian (PPMC), or HUP Cedar Emergency Department.
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) autonomously coordinates care for ED patients in the fast track, mid-track, and acute care areas. Common patient populations and chief complaints include chest pain, abdominal pain, infectious work-ups, syncope, orthopedic injuries, dermatologic issues, transplant complications, stroke/TIA work-ups, OB/GYN and GU issues, and other medical conditions. The APP performs independent visits as well as shared visits with attendings in all Emergency Departments.
The APP will provide safe, high quality, comprehensive care to patients in a fast-paced and dynamic ED that emphasizes patient flow and throughput. The APP will complete focused history and physical exams, and order and interpret labs, EKG/telemetry, and other diagnostic studies. **Summary:**

The Pulmonary and Medical Critical Care service at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is seeking an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) or PhysicianAssistant (PA-C) to join our expanding team of Advanced Practice Providers (APP).
Our role as medical critical care Advanced Practice Providers is unique, diverse, challenging, and always evolving. We deliver care to critically ill patients in one of the highest acuity medical ICUs in the nation. Join us in caring for a diverse patient population including Oncology, Hepatology, Pulmonary, transplant, and medicine patients. We were the first MICU in Penn Medicine to use an Advanced Practice Provider model, and plan to implement this same model as our service expands into a new, state of the art, 12 Bed Oncology MICU.
In addition to critical care, the MICU Advanced Practice Providers also manage a unique Procedure Consult service that provides bedside procedures to patients in all areas of the hospital. These procedures include: central lines, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and lumbar puncture. On the Procedure Consult Service, you will have the opportunity to lead procedural teaching of Residents, Fellows, and Advanced Practice Providers, in addition to autonomous practice. The APP team also operate a medical floor based Resuscitation and Critical Care Overflow service that provides a consult service to patients outside of the ICU who have evolving critical illness.
To be successful, we need uniquely qualified leaders in Advanced Practice with the skill, experience, expertise and passion to fill these new and exciting roles in the expanded Medical Critical Care and Oncology Critical Care Programs. These ACNPs or PAs will be working with board certified intensivist and interdisciplinary ICU teams providing front line management of critically ill patients. The Advanced Practice providers in the Medical Intensive Care Unit will function autonomously in collaboration with intensivists, nurses, Pharm-D's and other health care professionals to diagnose, treat, and manage complex critical illness.

**Summary:**
+ The Department of Surgery is seeking a Master's-prepared PhysicianAssistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery team at University of Pennsylvania Hospital and Pennsylvania Hospital. This Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will work closely with plastic surgeons in delivering care across a broad scope of surgical services, including reconstructive surgery, hand and upper extremity surgery, microsurgery, limb reconstruction, and aesthetic surgery.
+ The APP will serve as an integral member of the care team, collaborating closely with surgeons and managing patients both independently and alongside attending physicians. You will work closely with our residents and inpatient surgical teams as well. Clinical duties will include outpatient longitudinal care, perioperative care, and participation in procedure-based clinics. There will be an opportunity for surgical assisting with surgical experience a bonus but not required.
+ The APP will directly support a growing practice at a Level 1 trauma center. This would include the spectrum of patient care from outpatient elective hand surgery to complex microsurgical reconstruction of the upper extremity. Experience with routine fracture care would be a bonus but not required.
This is a full-time position based at our primary surgical sites, with a schedule comprised of:

Penn Medicine has an exciting opportunity for Nurse Practitioners and/or PhysicianAssistants to join the Cardiology Advanced Practice (CAP-Service) team. The CAP- Service APP team has 2 service arms - advanced heart failure and interventional cardiology (CAP-I). Responsibilities will include caring for patients with advanced cardiovascular diseases (such as advanced heart failure due to various types of cardiomyopathies, complex valvular heart disease (such as patients requiring TAVRs, TMVRs etc.) and ischemic heart disease (requiring complex interventional cardiology interventions, mechanical circulatory support (i.e. Ventricular Assist Devices(VAD), Impellas), pulmonary hypertension, heart transplant recipients or complications associated with heart transplantation. The CAP-Service team primarily cares for patients in cardiac progressive care unit which also includes patients requiring pulmonary artery catheter placement for monitoring for hemodynamic guided therapies, temporary mechanical circulatory support such as Impella who are listed and waiting for heart transplantation.
This is a high paced inpatient service where the Advanced Practice Provider provides comprehensive care including: admissions, daily clinical care and tasks, and discharge planning. The Advanced Practice Provider is an integral part of the multidisciplinary team. The Advanced Practice Provider will work with highly specialized cardiologists who highly value the Advanced Practice Provider role and autonomy of the Advanced Practice Providers.
This position will require a high level of independence, but are well supported with collaborative practice models. The high-impact clinical setting is dynamic, fast paced and high pressure. Good organizational skills and a strong knowledge of pathophysiology and pharmacology are essential. In this role there will be tremendous professional growth potential and the opportunity to participate in Penn Medicine's tripartite mission of clinical care, research and education.
All Advanced Practice Providers will function under the guidelines as designed by the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center medical staff guidelines and are credentialed through that body. The Advanced Practice Provider hired by the Department of Advanced Practice will be held accountable through a formal job description, through the delineation of privileges, and through their agreement with their collaborating/supervising physician who has initiated a Collaborative Practice Agreement. All clinical work hours and associated requirements will be defined and managed under the direction of the collaborating physician/division designee, and within the Human Resource guidelines.
Minimum Requirements:
Masters prepared as an acute care nurse practitioner or physicianassistant
Pennsylvania licensure as an ACNP, AGACNP or PA-C
BLS and ACLS required
Experience in cardiology and acute care preferred
Experience in working with multidisciplinary teams highly valued
Additional Information:
This position will be primarily for the CAP- Heart Failure but may need to cover to CAP-Interventional Cardiology as needed, thus the APP will be cross-trained in interventional cardiology as well.
The position is a NIGHT SHIFT Part Time FTE (0.5) equivalent to 48 hours / 2-week block.
7P-7A shift mainly, occassionally may need may need to do 11p-7a or 3p-11p shifts depending on service needs.
Every 4th weekend rotation but may need to adjust frequency as needed depending on service needs. Holiday rotations as scheduled by the team.

The Emergency Department (ED) at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) is looking for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to work full-time night shift in the ED Observation Unit at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP). This position offers a competitive night shift pay differential to recognize the unique demands and responsibilities associated with working during non-traditional hours and ensure that we maintain a capable team to address patient and departmental needs overnight.
The APP is responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with urgent medical needs after initial evaluation is completed in the ED. Common diagnoses include chest pain, abdominal pain, infectious work ups, syncope, transplant patients, stroke/TIA work ups, and other medical conditions requiring short-term clinical care. The APP works independently as the primary care provider, though consultation with physician support is always available.
The APP will provide safe, high quality, comprehensive care to patients in a fast paced and dynamic observation unit that emphasizes patient flow and throughput. The APP will complete focused history and physicals on patients, order medications, order and interpret labs, EKG/telemetry, and other diagnostic studies, as well as coordinate patient care with other disciplines.

**Position Summary:**

Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health is seeking a full-time motivated Nurse Practitioner/PhysicianAssistant to join our Surgical Oncology Team within our cancer institute in Lancaster, PA. The Surgical Oncology team provides patient centered care and oncology treatments for their patients as well as genetic testing and counseling for high-risk patients. Join the area's leading oncology experts, advanced technology, and an array of services to guide and support our Surgical Oncology patients through the continuum of care. This APP clinic role will be responsible for outpatient services for our colorectal oncology patients and performing consultations for oncology patients who require port placement.
Our providers practice in a single location at Penn Medicine's Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute (ABBCI), a 90,000 square foot state-of-the-art cancer center that provides medical, surgical, radiation, and palliative oncology under one roof. Our warm, light-filled, modern cancer institute includes 60 infusion chairs, 53 examination rooms, 4 linear accelerators, brachytherapy, and the nation's first Cyber-knife M6 and the da Vinci Surgical System. Our new state-of-the-art proton therapy facility opened in Fall 2022, becoming the second site in Pennsylvania to offer the innovative radiation therapy to cancer patients.
**Hours:** Full-time, Monday - Friday, primarily 8:00 - 5:00pm. No weekends or holidays. No on-call.
**Minimum Requirements:**

**Summary:**
The Department of Surgical Urology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or masters prepared PhysicianAssistant for our Men's Health Program within Penn Medicine University City (PMUC) at Penn Presbyterian Hospital. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will work closely with the director of the Men's Health Center/Urology provider and work as an independent and collaborative provider. The APP will help build the Men's Health Program and evaluate men with a variety of urologic complaints while working in a multi-disciplinary manner to ensure we are delivering comprehensive care.
Working as a practitioner of the health care team, the APP will take medical histories, examine patients, order, and interpret laboratory tests/radiology studies, develop diagnoses and treatment plans as well as perform men's health office procedures. The practice will center on a high-volume intake and diagnostic clinic with targeted time for a procedure-based practice. The APP will cross cover in different areas as needed. The APP will see patients with collaborating providers as well as independently. The types of patients the APP will see will vary and will include but will not be limited to low T, ED, peyronie's disease, ejaculatory dysfunction, penile rehab program (post prostate/ bladder cancer surgery), any scrotal complaints (hydroceles/epididymal cysts), testicular pain, post priapism
This is a full-time position initially based out of PMUC. The schedule for this position will be comprised of:

**Responsibilities:**
