Application for *Updated* Lecturer The Department of Operations Research and Financial Engineering at Princeton University has an occasional curricular need for lecturers to teach, co-teach, or lead precepts in department courses, and accepts applications in advance in the event such lecturers are needed. Appointments and duty time assignments are subject to enrollment and may be for one or two semesters during the 2025-2026 academic year. Positions would have an expected start date of September 1, 2025, or January 16, 2026. Individuals must possess a PhD in a related field of interest to the department and have experience teaching at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. The successful candidate will lecture according to department scheduling along with exam writing and grading as it is applicable to the course being taught. Successful applicants will work closely with faculty course coordinators to ensure the achievement of learning outcomes consistent with course objectives, including the maintenance of collaborative effective and ongoing communication with the course coordinator concerning student progress and/or concerns. Responsibilities include attending orientation, reviewing course syllabi with the course coordinator, using the electronic resources associated with the course to access information pertinent to the education of students providing care, grading assignments in Canvas, providing student formative and summative evaluation, documenting clinical observations and/or reportable incidents which may occur during the clinical experience. The posting of grades, completion of the end of semester clinical course report, responding in a timely fashion to student emails via the Rutgers email system and adhering to all policies, procedures, and deadlines of the School of Nursing-Camden are expectations. Some clinical sites require meetings at the site in advance of the clinical assignment and completion of additional site-based requirements.
