Undertake, at regular, intervals audits/inspections of the plant (including inspections of machinery, equipment in use, and work systems in operation) with plant management to ensure compliance with corporate polices and regulations. Where appropriate, develop corrective and preventive actions with management team. Collaborate with Safety Engineers, supervisors, and production employees to conduct job hazard analyses and risk assessments, and implement proper controls as necessary. Evaluate, recommend, and manage industrial hygiene monitoring to assess employee exposures to airborne contaminants and physical hazards. Identify plant environmental, health and safety training needs, develop appropriate resources, and execute training sessions for employees and management staff as required.
