The ideal candidate will have 10 years of experience in residential architecture, specializing in additions, new builds, and whole-house remodels. You will work closely with clients, architects, interior designers, and construction teams to create functional and aesthetically pleasing exterior and interior designs. This role requires someone who can balance technical skills with creativity while also mentoring our Residential Interior Designers for a cohesive design approach. Key Responsibilities: Exterior and Interior Design: Develop innovative exterior and interior designs, including additions, whole-house remodels, and new builds that align with clients' visions and site constraints, using your deep experience in residential design-build projects. Drafting and Planning: Create detailed architectural drawings, elevations, and blueprints using design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Chief Architect, etc.), focusing on all aspects of exterior and interior elements such as facades, roofing, landscaping, outdoor living spaces, and interior detailing. Client Collaboration: Engage with clients, listen to their design preferences, provide expert recommendations, and incorporate feedback to achieve their desired aesthetic. Close Collaboration with Interior Designers: Mentor and collaborate with Residential Interior Designers to ensure the exterior design complements the interior, fostering a seamless transition between spaces.
