Vantor is seeking a Space Systems Risk Management Engineer to join our team to work with the U.S. Space Force as part of the effort to define and manage an integrated system-of-systems space enterprise, specifically focused on SSC's Space Systems Integration Office (SSIO). You will apply systems engineering principles and risk management methodologies to complex systems of systems across the space industry. 5-7 years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on complex systems, preferably within the space industry. Experience with System of Systems (SoS) engineering principles is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience in risk management processes and techniques is essential.

Experience with systems engineering methodologies (e.g., Agile, Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)).

Lead stormwater management and water quality design for commercial development clients.

Overview of the position:
At Clark Pacific, the Project Engineer is a position that facilitates the successful design, fabrication, and installation of architectural and structural building systems. Working as part of an integrated team within a specific business unit, this role applies engineering, project management, problem solving, and communication skills across all levels and disciplines within the organization, significantly contributing to the project success of some of the West Coast's most iconic and exciting prefabricated buildings.
Initial activities pertaining to the Design Phase, including, but not limited to: Submittal drawings (floor plans, elevations, material specifications, connection details, Reinforcing details, General panel details, Design approvals, Reinforcement drawings, and Miscellaneous metal drawings.

General project management including, but not limited to: Project performance to contract specifications, budget, and time commitments, Issue identification, problem-solving, resolution, and escalation (as necessary), Coordinate necessary and requested procedure submittals (such as welding, grouting, post-tensioning, etc., Engage with internal resources throughout the Company to contribute, learn, and develop professionally.

In this role you will be supporting LACCD ( Los Angeles Community College District and you will need to travel to each campus.
Minimum Required Qualifications:
• 5-8 years minimum recent professional experience in a similar or equivalent position involved in
project or construction.
• BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related degree.
Additional qualifying experience in excess to the minimum stated above may be substituted
for the required education on a year for year basis.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Able to travel to LACCD campuses
• Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and
documents
• Must be proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Provides technical skills and coordination support to the Quality Assurance/Quality Control
(QAQC) Department.
• Coordinates with Program Management Office (PMO) staff, College Project Teams (CPT),
and College staff.
• Participates in, and occasionally runs, QAQC meetings.
• Conducts field checks and site walks to verify compliance with assigned metrics related to Key
Performance Indicators (KPIs) or other assessment criteria.
• Supports in addressing matters with the CPTs and PMO related to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), KPIs, and assessments.
• Assists in preparing written materials including correspondence, reports, procedures, and guidelines.
• Develops monthly project status reports for all assigned active construction projects.
• Reviews construction change orders and construction field orders.
