The salary range for this position is 115,000.00 - 200,000.00 USD Annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

Senior Solutions Engineer - Workday Finance, Adaptive Planning & Payroll
The Senior Solutions Engineer plays a pivotal role in BWE's success by designing and delivering Workday-driven enterprise solutions that streamline operations, strengthen financial insights, and support scalable growth. You translate complex business needs into Workday configurations, integrations, and enhancements-ensuring our Finance, Adaptive Planning, and Payroll environments are optimized, reliable, and ready for continuous innovation. Your work enables seamless data flow, efficient processes, and responsible adoption of emerging technologies across the organization.
Workday Platform Ownership
· Configure, extend, and optimize Workday Finance, Adaptive Planning, and Payroll to support evolving business processes, compliance needs, and reporting requirements.
· Build and maintain Workday integrations (EIB, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, PECI, APIs) to ensure accurate, secure, and timely data exchange across internal and external systems.
· Lead Workday release management activities, including impact analysis, regression testing, and deployment of new features.
Financial & Planning Solutions
· Partner with Finance and Accounting teams to design Workday Financials configurations that support budgeting, forecasting, procurement, asset management, and financial reporting.
· Enhance and maintain Workday Adaptive Planning models, including workforce planning, financial modeling, dashboards, and scenario analysis.
· Ensure data accuracy and alignment between Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning.
Payroll & Compliance
· Support and optimize Workday Payroll processes, including earnings, deductions, tax configurations, payroll calculations, and year-end activities.
· Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to troubleshoot payroll issues, validate results, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Delivery
· Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into Workday solutions, and deliver clear documentation, training, and change-management support.
· Participate in code reviews, documentation, and internal demos to ensure transparency and maintainability.
Integration, Automation & AI Enablement
· Maintain and optimize integrations between Workday and other enterprise platforms, ensuring performance, reliability, and security.
· Identify automation opportunities within Workday and across connected systems, leveraging Workday tools and AI-enabled services where appropriate.
· Apply AI engineering practices-such as prompt design, API integration, and validation-to enhance Workday-related workflows in alignment with BWE's AI governance standards.
Operational Excellence
· Troubleshoot and resolve Workday issues using structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
· Contribute to internal knowledge sharing through documentation, demos, and peer mentorship.
Minimum Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience as a Solutions Engineer, Workday Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise applications.
· Hands-on experience configuring and integrating Workday Finance, Adaptive Planning, and/or Payroll.
· Strong proficiency with Workday integration tools (EIB, Core Connectors, Studio, PECI) and APIs.
· Experience with financial data modeling, planning structures, reporting frameworks, and workflow automation.
· Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience embedding AI services into enterprise workflows.
· Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions from design through deployment.
· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with a focus on continuous improvement.
· Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or related field-or equivalent hands-on experience.

What You Will Contribute to OHM Advisors
The successful Project Engineer will have the opportunity to lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and technicians on municipal projects. Project engineering responsibilities include infrastructure design, preparation of construction documents, cost estimating, and thorough project QA/QC. Project Management duties include developing and managing the project scope, schedule, and budget; and delivering an overall quality project to our clients. Collaboration with a team of engineers and mentoring of entry-level staff will be essential.
Your Responsibilities
Managing multi-disciplinary engineering projects and engineers.
Developing and maintaining project scope, schedule, and budget.
Project Management with municipal projects involving infrastructure design, site/civil design, roadway rehabilitation/reconstruction, and pedestrian/bicycle facilities.
Understanding of State, Local, and Federal funding programs.
Understanding ODOT design criteria, standards, and specifications.
Participation in local professional society functions.
Client relationship management.
Business development.
Requirements
Education, Experience & Licensure:
Ohio Prof. Engineering License.
8-10 years' experience with Municipal Project Engineering.
Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation ORD.
Technical Skills:
The desire and ability to build strong client relationships.
Ability to train entry-level engineers and interns.
Excellent communication and organizational skills and enjoy working in a team environment.
