This role is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of all electronic systems and radio communications on the car. The successful candidate will contribute directly to on-track performance and will be involved in race operations, development testing, and engineering projects from concept to completion. Responsibilities Maintain and troubleshoot all electronic systems to ensure accurate and repeatable data collection at the track. Possess strong working knowledge of all car systems to quickly diagnose and resolve issues. Work with vendors to select and integrate sensors for on-car and test rig applications. Build and maintain timing stands and trackside equipment. Design and build test fixtures to support overall vehicle performance. Design and layout circuit boards for test and pit equipment. Develop and maintain trackside tools to aid in car calibration and race performance. Assist in the setup and operation of 2-way radio communication systems. Take ownership of defined development projects from concept through execution. Follow technical specifications outlined by technical bulletins and team car build requirements. Take a hands-on approach, driving projects from design to completion. Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred). Minimum 3.0 GPA. Motorsports engineering background preferred but not required (IndyCar, NASCAR, IMSA, WEC, or F1 experience a plus). Strong knowledge of circuit design, diagnostics, and layout. Familiarity with basic circuit wiring. Extensive knowledge of data acquisition, data analysis, and statistical analysis. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Coding experience recommended. Desired / Preferred Qualifications Experience with data acquisition systems (Cosworth, CAN communication).
