**What You'll Do** We're looking for a Director- Supplier Management to join the Global Sourcing team! In this role you'll own the enterprise Supplier Management program and are accountable for risk, performance, and value management in the supply base. This role leads a team of Supplier Relationship Managers who focus on our highest impact suppliers. Through management plans, score cards, and strong governance, the supplier management function drives value for Principal.
**You'll have the opportunity to:**
+ Effectively lead a team of supplier management professionals helping them prioritize focus areas within the supply base through segmentation and proactive issue and opportunity identification.
+ Partner with risk leaders and risk subject matter experts to efficiently complete supplier risk assessments and implement controls to mitigate the identified risks. Ensure the risk rigor aligns with the Principal risk appetite.
+ Collaborate with Sourcing leaders and Sourcing Consultants to cleanly transition suppliers from contracting to ongoing management. Ensure that business and commercial terms are well understood by first line engagement managers for our most impactful suppliers.
+ Collaborate with Engagement managers, risk and business partners to ensure strategic suppliers are managed well for maximization of value and risk mitigation
+ Educate and train first line engagement managers on effective supplier management. The depth of training should reflect the risk and impact of the supplier that is being managed.
+ Develop and continuously implement a vision for the supplier management function taking into account emerging trends in procurement, technology, and risk.
+ Continuously improve the adopted procurement tools and technologies to make the supplier management function more efficient and effective.
+ Develop and implement a roadmap for inclusion and sustainability

**Who You Are**
+ Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience required, 10+ years of supplier management experience with 5+ years people leader experience.
+ Ability to build relationships and influence others.
+ Must be able to deal with conflicting goals and points of view.
+ Knowledge of Supplier Management Program including TPRM (third party risk management)
+ Experience with technology and tools that enable Supplier Management
+ Knowledge and experience in strategic sourcing and supply chain management preferred

**Salary Range Information**
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

This is a Delivery Leader role supporting Agribusiness Technology Solutions and the Nationwide Agribusiness project portfolio accountable for the delivery of business outcomes through technology initiatives. This role will lead and facilitate the execution of complex projects managing dependencies, schedule, financials, and business value realization for both Farm and Commercial Agribusiness business segments. This role will be influential in driving continuous improvement and capability uplift supporting overall software delivery excellence.

As a Delivery Leader you'll be responsible for delivering value and outcomes. Job Description
Key Responsibilities:

Is responsible for the delivery of status/health reports to drive value delivery tracking (ex: KPIs), optimizes the flow of value and ensures demand/capacity is handled.
Works with medium to large project/product financials.
Serves as a professional to others around delivering business outcomes, benefit realization, agile delivery, and Lean.

Typical Skills and Experiences:
Education: Undergraduate studies (bachelor's degree preferred) in management information systems, engineering, math, computer science, data analytics or comparable experience and education strongly preferred.
License/Certification/Designation: Technology certifications or PMI, SAFE, Agile or Lean designations are encouraged.
Experience: Six or more years of experience in technology or related field. Three years demonstrated proficiency in delivering outcomes/projects. Awareness of emerging technologies and/or industry trends.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Ability to make decisions and recommendations. Aptitude to influence, establish relationships and set priorities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of associates, senior management and/or vendors. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus.

In this role you will:
