This is a broad and deep role, and examples of these systems include enrollment, asset management, purchasing, PTO management, meal ordering and processes, and facilities tickets. Scholar Attendance and Retention: Assistant Principals of Operations, in conjunction with their School Leadership Team and Operations Teams, create the systems and conditions to meet the network standard of 95% average daily attendance as well as 90% chronically present. Information Systems and Data: Assistant Principals of Operations ensure THA's information systems are up to date and accurate, including ensuring our student information system (PowerSchool) is updated and that we have all required scholar documentation and that we gather data and meet expectations for state accreditation. Financial Processes and Controls: Assistant Principals of Operations manage the school discretionary budget and any finance-related matters, including cash deposits, scholar fees, and purchasing processes and documentation. Facilities and Safety: Assistant Principals of Operations ensure that our facilities are safe and clean learning environments for our scholars. This includes ensuring we execute safety drills well and have necessary signage, address maintenance needs when they arise, and that our spaces meet THA's standard. Tulsa Honor Academy recognizes the importance of a high-quality, well-trained Leadership Team in fulfilling the mission of the school. To that end, we are committed to providing an excellent education to all scholars by 1) ensuring that our scholars ultimately master the material we teach, 2) establishing a structured, yet loving environment that ensures all scholars are physically and emotionally safe at all times, and 3) creating and maintaining student and adult facing systems that enable the school to function efficiently and effectively in pursuit of our mission.
