Reality Labs at Meta is seeking Research Scientists with experience in product-focused machine learning and signal processing research to advance our pioneering work in neuromotor interfaces, which has grown out of the acquisition of CTRL-labs. We're building a practical interface drawing on the rich neuromotor signals that can be measured non-invasively via surface electromyography (EMG) with single motor neuron resolution. This position is available to individuals with research interests and expertise in modeling and data analyses of hydrologic processes. Successful candidates will hold a terminal degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field and demonstrate a record of academic achievement in research. Initial appointments are for one year, with renewal contingent upon demonstration of research productivity and funding. This position will be expected to conduct research in the general area of hydrology.
