Your Key Responsibilities
Works under minimal supervision with broad guidelines to assign, review, and evaluate the performance of new project orders, directing interdisciplinary project teams as needed to ensure project needs are met.
Manages and directs several technically complex and diverse projects comprised of relatively large teams of diverse disciplines.
Serves as a senior reviewer and/or Principal-In-Charge of projects, research efforts, and manuscripts.
Generates revenue; broadens client relationships with new services.
Presents the consulting business and risk assessment process in client meetings and for business development leads with no oversight.
Works independently and directs business development staff to strategize around and win project work from new or existing clients.
Develops and expands the client network which leads to building revenue and independent draw power.
Serves as a strategic leader to develop, expand, and leverage new technical areas to broaden the technical and revenue diversity of the firm.
Attracts and manages 5 - 10 projects totaling at least $1,000,000, including budgeting and tracking project financials, scoping project strategic plans, managing project team member tasks, and maintaining excellent client relationships.
Identifies when deliverables are not up to Stantec ChemRisk standards and works with project staff to ensure final deliverables are high quality.
Expands technical expertise in specific areas of risk assessment, toxicology, epidemiology, and exposure assessment by participating as a primary writer and technical contributor to one manuscript or 2-3 diverse technical projects annually.
Stays abreast of relevant scientific literature and regulations.
Participates in the scientific community and is recognized as a leader and expert in multiple areas of technical expertise.
Guides, teaches, and mentors 5 - 10 staff members daily, including being responsible for their workload and career development.
Works with staff to broaden their skill sets and has inspired them to an expanded vision for their careers.

Salary Range(s):
$141,400 - $219,100 Min/Max Pay Range(s) for postings located in NYC/NY.
$123,400 - $191,300 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CO and HI.
$132,400 - $219,100 Min/Max Pay Range for postings located in CA (SF Area includes SF, SJS & WLC).
The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
