Job Description:
SUMMARY
Serves as a lead person associated with the following as assigned for Cuyahoga Community College theater and community events taking place in the theatre facilities: set-up/delivery, creation and maintenance of costumes, operation of the box office, or run crew. Summary
As the Configuration Manager for a portfolio of cutting-edge aerospace programs supporting the U.S. Department of Defense, I'm looking to bring a skilled and proactive Configuration Engineer onto our team. This role is integral to maintaining control, consistency, and traceability of program documentation, product design data and imbedded product software throughout Safran development lifecycle. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain configuration baselines for program documentation, and product design across multiple DoD development programs utilizing, PTC, RV&S, and PTC Windchill.
- Execute configuration management activities in accordance with MIL-STD-973, EIA-649, Safran Global Procedures and Program specific Configuration Management Plans (PCMP).
- Administer configuration control boards (CCBs), manage and track change requests (CRs), throughout the change process, and ensure timely implementation of approved changes.
- Report KPIs on a monthly basis for the change management process.
- Collaborate with engineering, program management, quality assurance, subcontractors and other program stakeholders to enforce Configuration Management (CM) policies and best practices.
- Create and maintain configuration documentation, such as configuration status accounting reports, release notes, and CM audit checklists, CM plans and other CM procedures, work instructions or training documentation.
- Perform audits to verify the configuration of released products matches requirements and documentation.
- Utilize PLM (Product Lifecycle Management), ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) business systems to effectively manage and control configuration information.
- Support the implementation and ongoing use of PTC RV&S and PTC Windchill as our enterprise ALM and PLM tools.
- Ensure compliance with ITAR, Export Control regulations, and proper handling of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) in all configuration activities.
- Travel requirements: Occasionally be required to travel, both domestically in the United States and internationally (up to 10%)
- Adhere to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture
- Regular, predictable attendance is required

Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution
- 5+ years relevant experience in software configuration management, software engineering, configuration management, data management or quality role in the aerospace industry
Knowledge/Skills:
- Advanced knowledge of document, product, and software configuration control.
- Advanced experience utilizing PLM, ALM, and ERP systems to manage configuration information
- Advanced in the use of business applications such as Microsoft Office suite
- Basic knowledge MIL-STD-973, EIA-649, and/or other applicable DoD CM standards
- Basic experience working under government contracts ITAR/Export Control requirements, and proper handling of CUI.
- Advance attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently in a development environment
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with engineers and program stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Expert knowledge of document, product, and software configuration control.
- Advanced knowledge in PTC product suite (RV&S, Windchill)
- Basic knowledge of software development and associated applications/languages (e.g. Code Composer Studio, Code Collaborator, Vector Cast, Astree, SourceTrace, Labview, C99, Python)
- Basic knowledge in requirements and verifications management.
- Basic knowledge in technical drafting (including dimensioning, tolerance, view development, notes, and BOMs)

The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD).
