This position will be working within the Plant Operations department assisting in the development of the software models that supports the NuScale control room simulator. This position will work in close collaboration with NuScale operators and engineers to support a range of software development tasks such as updating plant models in accordance with engineering documentation. Ideal Scandidate is familiar with the GSE software suite (i.e., SimExec and JTopmeret), have experience with thermal hydraulic system codes (e.g., RELAP5 and Trace), and have experience with neutronic analysis codes (e.g., Simulate 3 and MCNP). Additionally, knowledge of electrical systems and ability to model breakers, busses, and electrical devices highly desirable.
