Charleston Area Medical Center Health System is a nonprofit, 982-bed regional referral center made up of seven hospitals as well as the CAMC Institute for Academic Medicine and the CAMC Foundation. More than 1,100 providers are members of the medical and advanced practice staff of CAMC. CAMC prides itself as a leading teaching institution and academic medical center serving the healthcare needs of West Virginia and the surrounding region. Two regional medical school campuses, West Virginia University and West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, are located onsite at CAMC.
