Acts as manufacturing/production supervisor. Leading and maintaining 3D printing operations to meeting ISO 13485 standards. Adapt to fluctuations in requirements of finished goods and still being able to meet customer demand. Partner closely with engineering and other internal customers to development new products Conduct routine equipment maintenance of 3D printers, and associated equipment and ensures proper 3D printer software, downloads, and upgrades. Conduct all manufacturer required maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to maintain 3D printer quality. Maintain all post processing equipment. Maintain cleanliness of 3D printing equipment, supplies and processing areas. Assist in control of operating and capital budgets within the department Assist in maintaining and improving existing production equipment and processes within the department. Interfaces with vendors and staff regarding trouble shooting and 3D printer system problems. Apply GMP and GDP principles to production, test records, and documentation. Generate Non-Conformance Reports and respond to Corrective Action Preventive Action plans. Train and mentor new technicians.
Essential Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical degree preferred. Management and/or strong leadership experience preferred. Previous knowledge of a Stratasys J750 or equivalent commercial 3D printers. Ability to work in a regulated environment in compliance with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820. Must perform well individually and in cross-functional, highly dynamic development teams. Motivated, resourceful, ambitious, and attentive to detail. Must be able to work in fast paced organization, meet multiple deadlines, and succeed under pressure. Position Overview:The Printing Manager provides leadership to the supervisory team and production work teams, reporting directly to the Plant Operations Manager. The Printing Manager facilitates department meetings, intervenes as necessary to keep the goals and results consistent with company direction, and works with the supervisory team members to develop their full potential. This role, in conjunction with the team, is responsible for safety, quality, productivity, equipment condition, and housekeeping of the printing press and sheeting departments.
Responsibilities:Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the printing press and sheeting departments.
