5. Works to continually develop personal selling skills and specialized product knowledge through sales and service tools provided. Drives Print Services sales by supporting all related current programs, new product launches and special initiatives.
6. Trains and coaches support staff (Advisors) on the use of new products and tools. In addition, contributes to associate's development through training, communication, recognition and support.
7. Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and practices; and supports company loss prevention efforts.
8. Maintains the appearance of the Print Services area in accordance with policy.
9. Partner with the General Manager to develop and maintain selling and external marketing strategies to include an effective canvassing program.

**JOB SUMMARY** **:**
The 2nd/3rd shift Printing Supervisor will be responsible for the day- to- day supervision of staff, organizing and monitoring of the work flow & the production processes in line with the production targets set out in relation to efficiency, cost, quality and delivery.
**ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:**
· Maintain employee safety and morale by ensuring all members of the operations team are trained and adhere to safety policies to provide a safe workplace.
· Maintain compliance with safety and environmental procedures by performing and documenting regular audits and following up on the findings. Provide feedback when procedures are not correct.
· Manage a team of production employees by coaching, guiding, conducting reviews, managing time, enforcing policies/procedures, and counseling when necessary.
· Develop, maintain and improve Key Performance Indicators such as lead times, scrap, and yields in order to improve customer satisfaction and reduce waste and costs. Ensure KPI's are aligned with company objectives and employees understand and are engaged in achieving department goals.
· Assume responsibility for staff planning to ensure required capacity is met within the most efficient & cost-effective manner possible.
· Liaise with the Production Supervisor to maintain correct headcount levels through the selection and training or cross training of personnel where appropriate to ensure competence & flexibility in all areas & maximization of labor resources.
· Conduct employee performance evaluations and ensure continuous employee development.
· Record and report daily production metrics and adjust resources to stay on plan.
· Provide regular updates to Production Supervisor on projects and production issues.
· Support the Operations Manager to maximize efficiency and achieve key plant goals, i.e. high output, high quality, low cost and on time delivery
· Coordinating the manufacturing of products in compliance with company goals and objectives and customer expectations, through the implementation of policies and procedures while applying the ITW toolbox principles.
· Interpret and support quality policies and implement guidelines to ensure compliance with quality standards.
· Train employees on processes, safety, quality, and Kan Ban process.
· Notify sales and/or customer service concerning delays and shortages with products.
Drive continuous improvements by applying ITW Toolbox 80/20, PLS, and USa principles/techniques and other Lean Manufacturing and Total Quality Management tools such as 5S, root-cause-analysis, and Kaizen
**Education:**
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or Technical field preferred.
