The Data Modernization Senior Advisor will serve as a subject matter expert, guiding public health agencies through the development and delivery of technical projects that improve the use of public health data to inform decision making. This role is aligned to the Workforce Acceleration Initiative (WAI). WAI is a federally funded CDC Foundation program with the goal of helping the nation's public health agencies by providing them with the technology and data experts they need to accelerate their information system improvements.
The Data Modernization Senior Advisor will be hired by the CDC Foundation and assigned to Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health's Informatics Team. LDCPH is a PHAB-accredited local health department established in 1942 through a joint agreement between Douglas County and the City of Lawrence, serving approximately 122,000 residents. Douglas County includes the City of Lawrence, home to the University of Kansas and Haskell Indian Nations University, as well as the communities of Eudora, Lecompton, and Baldwin City, home to Baker University. The Advisor will develop and implement LDCPH's strategy for increasingly effective use of data and information through improvements in information systems, data governance and security policies, workforce capacity, and work processes. This position will strategically direct LDCPH's data modernization efforts, identifying and addressing needs, gaps, and opportunities in the organization's data ecosystem. The data ecosystem includes both the technical data infrastructure and the workforce that relies on and works with the data infrastructure and the data itself, including systems and data of external partners. This position will combine deep expertise in public health operations with expertise in the development, maintenance, operation, enhancement, and configuration of information systems, and with knowledge of advanced information technology, tools, and processes.
The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge about organizations in the public health informatics landscape, technical infrastructure, and proven experience in informatics-oriented work with public health organizations and in working with agency leaders to develop and implement systems improvement strategies. Strong communication and partnership skills are required to succeed in this role.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Part-Time, Seasonal Camp Maintenance & Grounds Assistant supports the day-to-day operations and maintenance of Girl Scouts Nation's Capital's camp facilities. Maintain camp vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order and keep written inventories.

Volunteer & Community Relations
Prepare job/project lists for volunteer groups; supervise volunteer and troop service projects as needed.
Represent the council at the site as host/hostess for campers, leaders, and visitors; maintain positive relationships with visitors, the local community, and public officials.
Administration & Reporting
With Facilities Manager approval, make purchases for routine and scheduled projects following council procedures and budget guidelines.
Keep the Facilities Manager informed of work status and project progress.
Provide support at other GSCNC properties as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
General maintenance knowledge with experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, groundskeeping, and small engine repair.
Ability to operate heavy equipment.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Strong interpersonal skills; able to work effectively with individuals and groups.
Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to plan and prioritize work.
Familiarity with Girl Scout philosophy and camping practices preferred.

Working within the Illinois Department of Public Health, to build, optimize, and manage cloud-based data pipelines and ETL processes on the Snowflake platform. This role will focus on implementing high-performance data systems, ensuring the reliability and scalability of our data infrastructure, and enabling robust analytics and insights for the organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Snowflake, cloud environments, and data engineering best practices.
The Data Engineer will be hired by the CDC Foundation and assigned to the Illinois Department of Public Health. This position is eligible for a fully remote work arrangement for U.S. based candidates.
Responsibilities
· Develop a detailed plan for database migration, ETL processes, and data processing applications.
· Design, build, and manage ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines on the Snowflake platform, ensuring the movement of large datasets between various data sources. What we are looking for:
A driven and mission focused Chaplain Resources Manager to increase prisoner participation in the Angel Tree program and champion Angel Tree in the eyes of chaplains as an asset to their ministry work to prisoners. You must reside in the Great Lakes Region (between IL, IN, KY, OH, MI, OH or WV) to adequately cover the territory.
Expectations of this role:
Maintain an active relationship with Jesus Christ and support the ministry through prayer and actions
Build chaplain relationships, leveraging them to raise awareness of Prison Fellowship's programs with appropriate prison staff
Drive Prison App strategy, framing it as a parenting tool for moms and dads in prison
Manage Angel Tree sign up events by working with prison staff
Work to establish Prison Fellowship as the premiere resource provider by increasing chaplain engagement in Storehouse usage and newsletter subscriptions
Support field staff Angel Tree efforts
Qualifications:
5+ years staff or volunteer management
3+ years of event planning
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrated ability to network, adapt, persevere, and collaborate
Intermediate computer skills, including MS Office
Ability to learn in-house database
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated comfort working in a prison setting
Ability to travel 40% (heavier in summer months)
Knowledge and understanding of Prison Fellowship programs a plus
This is a remote/work from home position with a heavy travel component. Must live in the Great Lakes Region (IL, IN, KY, MI, OH or WV) to cover the territory and the driving aspect of this role is subject to certain driving record and insurance requirements

The Data Engineer will play a crucial role in advancing the CDC Foundation's mission by designing, building, and maintaining data infrastructure for a public health organization. This role is aligned to the Workforce Acceleration Initiative (WAI). WAI is a federally funded CDC Foundation program with the goal of helping the nation's public health agencies by providing them with the technology and data experts they need to accelerate their information system improvements.
Working within the Chickasaw Nation Department of Health (CNDH), Division of Public Health, the Data Engineer will collaboratively plan and develop solutions for interoperable data generation, storage, processing, and analysis across data systems relevant to the tribal public health agency. The Data Engineer will collaborate with the CNDH Division of Public Health team and with data content experts, analysts, data scientists, data modelers, warehouse architects, IT staff and other organization staff to design and implement proposed solutions and architectures that meet the needs of the public health agency, all while providing training and mentorship to the Division of Public Health staff for capacity development and system sustainability.
The Data Engineer will be hired by the CDC Foundation and assigned to the CNDH Division of Public Health. This position is eligible for a fully remote work arrangement for U.S. based candidates.
Responsibilities
· Create and manage the systems and pipelines that enable efficient and reliable flow of data, including ingestion, processing, and storage.
· Collect data from various sources, transforming and cleaning it to ensure accuracy and consistency. Load data into storage systems or data warehouses.
· Optimize data pipelines, infrastructure, and workflows for performance and scalability.
· Monitor data pipelines and systems for performance issues, errors, and anomalies, and implement solutions to address them.
