Key Activities
- Install doors and hardware, etc. at residential job sites in a time-efficient and quality-centered manner
- Effectively interact with homeowners during measure and/or install process. (Inform, resolve concerns and solve problems)

Requirements
- Must be able to pass a detailed background investigation.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience installing doors and/or trim carpentry is preferred.
- Vehicle, trailer, or some way to transport products to job sites.
- Must provide own tools- IE: trim carpentry/door installation tools.
- Access to a smart phone and/or tablet (a plus), as well as a computer with an internet connection.
- EPA or State RRP Certified (Lead Safe Work Practices). We can assist in obtaining certification if necessary.

Counseling 4 Kids private contractor job description
Counseling4Kids is comprised of a team of talented professionals that provide home-based and school-linked mental health services throughout LA County. Our clients are primarily foster care/ DCFS involved children and youth. Most have experienced significant traumatic events and have trauma-related symptoms. Our primary treatment model is Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). We also treat clients with MAP, CPP, PPP, Seeking Safety and PCIT.
We are currently seeking independent contractors, that can commit to providing 15 – 30 hours of billable service per week; the pay rate is $50 per hour (plus Spanish-speaking differential).
Minimum Requirements:
- Master’s degree required in Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling, or Social Work
- Licensed as an MFT, LCSW, or Psychologist and current, unrestricted registration with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
- TF-CBT certification and/or MAP certification, and experience with DMH documentation is required
- Two years or more previous experience working with children and families
- Experience providing mental health services requiring diagnostic evaluation, treatment planning and crisis intervention, as well as providing the various modalities of therapy
- Must be able to document in a clear and concise manner and in accordance with DMH and other program standards

Experience using EXYM EHR
- Experience, training, and/or strong interest in working with clients ages birth to five presenting with symptoms of trauma and/or disruptive behavior

Valid California Driver’s license and copies of all current certifications to the facility
Contract Requirements
- Provides evidenced based interventions and/or MAT based on DMH and C4K guidelines
- Works collaboratively with clients and the clinical team to develop a comprehensive assessment, treatment plan and desired treatment outcomes
- Maintains clients records related to assessment, treatment, progress toward goals and objectives, discharge summary, and treatment outcomes that are accurate, concise, timely, and useful for coordinating treatment team planning, monitoring, and review
- Participates in treatment team meetings and makes recommendations as appropriate
- Maintains 15-30 of billable time per week
- Seeks guidance and remains knowledgeable of, and complies with, all applicable federal and state laws, as well as company policies that apply to assigned duties

Physical Demands:
Must be able to remain in a stationary (stand/sit) position at least 50% of the time. This person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer. Frequently communicates with staff, clients, families and other community organizations and must be able to exchange accurate information. Regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions when out in the community.
