Pingora is a private funded company to privately held and Founder companies on a global basis that acquires and operates companies long term.

We currently have an internship opportunity to work with on a $5m, privately held client acquisiton strategy that is currently under LOI and in final stages of closing in the Memphis area.

If you have an interest in Business Development, Private Equity or Investment Banking and are highly personable, creative and computer savvy and are able to create or desire to learn investment modeling please reach out.

I am seeking a highly motivated intern to assist in the financial modeling, investment thesis, creation of teasers, decision matrix to supply to current owners and can be involved in the acquisition portion of this process to include sourcing deals and alternative funding and outbound strategies.


The internship will begin based on availability of the intern and could start ASAP.




Requirements:
Be available for 10+hours/week except on holidays, for at least a three-month commitment
Be articulate and fluent in English
Have an interest in both high growth, Business development, investing and company operations
Be flexible, industrious, and bring a positive attitude to work every day


This is a non paid internship .

Position Overview:

* Assist the DEI team with daily projects and provide assistance related to strategic diversity goals. Throughout the internship, the DEI Intern will have an opportunity to interact with leaders and employees throughout the organization and gain real-world experience working side by side with the DEI team and DEI Council.
* Acquire targeted skills and provide you with knowledge of various DEI strategies in a non-profit setting. Ultimately, you will gain broad experience and should be prepared to enter any fast paced work environment upon completion of this internship.
* Develop experience working on a wide variety of organizational projects and have training opportunities that will help build your resume of skills.

Internship Program Requirements:

* All interns are required to attend a mandatory 40-hour orientation and training session at the beginning of their internship.
* Business Professional or Clinical Attire
* Established contract with academic institution.
* Minimum 100-hour commitment unless stated otherwise in contract.
* Students must satisfactorily complete goals as outlined by university affiliates and their assigned site supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

* Current students enrolled in an undergraduate program in Sociology, Gender Studies, History, Psychology, or related liberal arts degree.
* Must be enrolled, and in good academic standing, with an accredited academic institution at time of internship.

Overview of Role

Assist the team with servicing private banking clients and support the team in fulfilling the day-to-day “Know your client” (KYC) tasks. This exciting internship will last for a period of 6 months with a preferred start date of November or December 2022.

Responsibilities
Support the team in client on-boardings and documentation processes / requirements and stay up to date with all related regulatory developments Support the implementation of new regulatory requirements with regards to client documentation Organise, coordinate and prepare internal and external meetings, conference calls, preparation of meeting- and call- notes Interact with clients, clients' representatives, external advisers on structures set up via meetings, phone calls and e-mails Serve as a single point of contact within the service desk between the front office and client on-boarding / compliance functions with regard to the on-boarding process and documentation requirements Deputy for serving our Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Milan and UK offices as well as other External Asset Managers and Employee accounts Handle internal and external calls/e-mails and taking appropriate actions Prepare presentations, pitches, specific client documents and client materials

Education and Qualifications
Higher education or University degree

Experience, Skills and Competencies Required
Experience in the financial industry is considered a plus Knowledge and interest in financial markets and asset allocation Fluent in English and German (written & spoken), Spanish is considered a plus Computer literate (MS Office)
