Responsibilities
Assist the classroom teacher in implementing instructional activities and behavioral programs.

Support students with daily routines, transitions, and functional life skills.
Monitor, record, and report student progress or concerns to the supervising teacher or specialists.
Collaborate with the teacher, BCBA, and related service providers to ensure consistent support.

Key Responsibilities:
Observation and Feedback: Observe mentees at least once a week for the first month and a half of school, then transition to monthly observations. Have follow-up conversations after each observation.
Lesson Plan Review:?Review lesson plans from their mentees and ensure these lesson plans stay up to date and meet standards.
Support and Guidance:?Be available to aid in other school-related situations where the Fellow may require advice before proceeding (e.g., parent conversations and student situations).
Goal Setting:?Help Fellows set goals before the start of the year and at the semester break.
Holistic Formation:?Provide support in all four aspects of formation: human, intellectual, spiritual, and pedagogical.
Collaboration:?Work closely with the school principal to ensure the Fellow is meeting all standards and expectations. Correspond directly with the Executive Director if intervention is needed.

Strong commitment to the mission of Catholic education.
Experience in teaching and mentoring within a Catholic school setting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide constructive feedback and support professional growth.

Teacher-Tutors at GradePower Learning do not have to lesson plan before class, as all lessons are pre-planned. Applicants will be fully trained in our proprietary philosophy and methods.
Position Requirements:
All Teacher-Tutors at GradePower Learning must be available during after-school and evening hours (4:00pm - 8:00pm), as well as Saturday mornings (9:30am - 12:30pm). A commitment until the end of the term in June is preferred. Continuing through the summer is even better. Your students will love working with you, and being reliable is a must.
This role is in-person. You must be able to commute to this location. This is not an online position. Relocation packages are not available. Vulnerable sector screening is mandatory.

Primary Duties
Math Center tutors assist with answering students' math questions on a drop-in basis. Students who visit the Math Center may be enrolled in classes that range from Introductory Algebra to Differential Equations, with the majority of students being in College Algebra.
List of Job Duties:
* Ensure students sign in and sign out to help keep track of traffic in the Math Center at different times and days throughout the semester
* Work alongside another instructor and/or student hourly to answer students' math questions from a wide range of courses
* Submit bi-weekly timesheets to report hours worked in the Math Center, as well as leave requests for any absences that occur
Required Competencies
Math Center Student Hourlies should have a strong understanding and fluency of mathematics and its notation, ranging from basic math to Calculus. They should also have the desire and ability to patiently communicate math concepts to others, including those who struggle to learn math.
Qualifications
* Must be a FRCC student enrolled in at least 6 credits for the current semester
* Applicants do not have to qualify for work-study funds from Financial Aid.
* Math Center Student Hourlies should have completed Calculus I or higher with an A. Ideally, they would also have their instructor's recommendation to work in the Math Center.
