JOB TITLE: Part-Time Reading Intervention Tutor (VALLSS Tutor) IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Principal GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB The individual in this position is responsible for assisting the teaching staff with the school's literacy program and help classroom teachers in their instructional efforts. Assessing students' reading abilities and the phonetic skills that lead up to reading to determine if they qualify for PALS (state phonetic program).
