The technologist ensures patient safety, comfort, and dignity while adhering to established protocols, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements. Clinical Duties * Perform obstetric ultrasounds (first trimester, second/third trimester growth scans, anatomy scans, biophysical profiles, Doppler studies, and amniotic fluid assessments). * Perform gynecologic ultrasounds (transabdominal and transvaginal) to evaluate pelvic structures, ovaries, uterus, and endometrium. * Capture high-quality diagnostic images and cine loops per physician order and protocol. * Identify, measure, and document fetal structures, growth parameters, and anatomical findings. * Assist in the evaluation of multiple gestations, high-risk pregnancies, and abnormal findings. * Provide preliminary impressions to physicians while avoiding independent diagnosis. * Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
