YOUR DAY TO DAY: The MSF Assembler performs precision smoothing, sharpening, polishing, or grinding on a variety of welded assemblies and is responsible for the movement of necessary inventory and parts to and from the weld department. Job Responsibilities: * Fit, align, fasten, and package sheet metal parts, motors, electronics, molded parts into sub-assemblies and complete units. Visually inspect for fit and function. Non-conformities may require disassembly and rework. * Test units for electrical continuity and functionality. * Package units into corrugated containers with shipping filler and identify with all applicable labels. * Work from assembly drawings, process sheets and/or standard work to perform assembly operations in a consistent, safe, and efficient manner. * Use required hand and air powered tools, measuring instruments and gauges. * Participate in daily workplace organization and continuous improvement initiatives.
