This important position contributes to our success by providing purchasing activities under the direction of the Materials Manager. The Buyer is a cross-functional position that is primarily responsible for purchasing parts from vendors and coordinating with job releases and customer orders in an accurate and timely manner. This role will also identify root causes of supply chain issues and implement root cause counter measures as needed.
In this role you will:
Purchase manufactured parts needed for production and customer orders utilizing Syteline ERP.
Implement inventory planning strategies that meet both production and aftermarket service level requirements.
Be responsible for the analysis of sales order releases with respect to material requirements. Notify manager of any material shortages.
Interface with all value chain functions such as manufacturing, engineering and customer service on material status.
Build relationships with new and existing vendors to reduce lead times, ensure on time delivery and initiate cost savings programs.
Place purchase orders for materials and confirm delivery with suppliers, expedite material as needed, as well as review past due material reports daily and take appropriate action.
Support in the selection, management, and development of material supply base for outside processes and insource/outsource decisions.
Ensure item master setup is complete, including pricing, vendor code, lead time, min/max, safety stock, planner code and material classification.
Participate in continuous improvement projects which reduce costs, improve efficiency, and increase overall customer satisfaction through the materials group.
Analyze the supply and demand of company's product and forecast to minimize both overstock and out of stock occurrences.
Negotiate with outside suppliers to obtain the best price, delivery and quality performance.
Perform data analysis and problem-solving activities to improve decision-making and business performance.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with quickly changing priorities.
High School Diploma / Some College or BS/BA Preferred
Ability to read and understand manufacturing blueprints
Three (3) years of experience in a fast paced, manufacturing environment as a planner, scheduler, buyer, or production control
Experience working with vendors of various manufacturing capabilities to manufacture required parts
An understanding of different manufacturing operations (fabrication, CNC, Weld, etc)
Ability to interpret production bill of materials and assembly build processes
Familiarization of supply chain management in an engineer-to-order business
Proficient in ERP systems
Ability to read, write and comprehend English

Reporting to the Vice President/General Manager, the Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing processes, including materials management, planning, production control, mechanical & electrical assembly, and inventory management. This position is also responsible for managing plant safety and facility maintenance.
The Director of Operations oversees all manufacturing activities while balancing tactical and strategic business directives. Quality
Implement business process standard operating procedures (SOP's).

JOB DESCRIPTION

Receives incoming shipments, verify them against purchase orders, inspect for damage and accuracy, and determines where the parts go next.

Terminate Panels - Terminate all low and high-voltage wires back to the main panel(s) and/or junction boxes.
Install field Wiring - This includes mounting of various sensor types (proximity sensors, photo eye sensors, laser through beam sensors, reed switches), industrial camera and barcode readers, light towers, safety circuits.
System Debug - Work diligently to support lead Mechanical and Controls Engineers on “dialing in” the system to achieve desired performance level.
Troubleshoot Systems - This involves using various tools and instruments to find and fix electrical problems.
Redline Electrical Prints - This involves catching and documenting mistakes in electrical drawings sets, wiring the system correctly and then documenting the mistakes so that the Engineers can correct the final drawing set.

Federal is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The Mechanical Engineer under general direction, develops and prepares mechanical designs for filling machinery where broad use of independent judgement and highly technical skills are required.
In this vital role you can expect:
Mechanical engineering projects including obtaining customer specifications and designing the mechanical components of the machinery. This involves working closely with the Sales Department, application of mechanical engineering knowledge of machinery principles and materials, manufacturing methods and processes to ensure designs are functional, practical, economical and satisfy customer operating requirements.
Designing of machined and fabricated parts (including manufacturing methods) which includes shafts, bearings & housings, valves, drive components, mounting plates & precision spacers, structural frame weldments, sheet metal bins, channels, covers, ducts etc. Prepares proper Bills of Materials based on design, using primarily Solidworks as well as Autodesk Inventor and Cadlink software and release those BOMs to planning.
Analyzing and prioritizing projects based on the scope of established internal operations schedule.
Interfacing with Manufacturing to ensure machinery designs are properly fabricated, parts machined, and assembled which may include revising of mechanical design specifications/drawings. Interfacing with the Production Department to conduct machinery mechanical testing and interfaces with other departments e.g. sales/marketing, parts, purchasing, etc., to coordinate work/projects to ensure customer on-time delivery. Prepare and direct reports to other departments to address and resolve inquiries and problems.
Acting as a technical resource for customers and Service Department's Service Technicians to address and resolve inquires and problems. Especially, during machine installation and start-up in customer plant(s).
Traveling to customer sites.
REQUIREMENTS
2 - 5 years' experience in design and/or application engineering
Bachelor's Degree in engineering (mechanical preferred) and equivalent work experience
Design knowledge of machined and fabricated parts e.g. shafts, bearings and housings, drive components, mounting plates, precision spacers, structural frame weldments, sheet metal bins, channels, covers, ducts, etc.
Experience in a made to order type environment focusing on semi-custom machinery
Packaging or food processing industry controls experience a plus.

Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION
Federal is seeking a talented Mechanical Engineer to join their team. The Mechanical Engineer under general direction, develops and prepares mechanical designs for filling machinery where broad use of independent judgement and highly technical skills are required.
In this vital role you can expect:
* Mechanical engineering projects including obtaining customer specifications and designing the mechanical components of the machinery. This involves working closely with the Sales Department, application of mechanical engineering knowledge of machinery principles and materials, manufacturing methods and processes to ensure designs are functional, practical, economical and satisfy customer operating requirements.
* Designing of machined and fabricated parts (including manufacturing methods) which includes shafts, bearings & housings, valves, drive components, mounting plates & precision spacers, structural frame weldments, sheet metal bins, channels, covers, ducts etc. Prepares proper Bills of Materials based on design, using primarily Solidworks as well as Autodesk Inventor and Cadlink software and release those BOMs to planning.

* Experience in a made to order type environment focusing on semi-custom machinery
* Packaging or food processing industry controls experience a plus.

TechniBlend is in search of an experienced Project Manager with an emphasis on Engineer to Order equipment in the Food and Beverage process industry. The Project Manager oversees planning and coordinating technical engineering initiatives to make sure the project team can complete a project within their budget and according to a schedule.

* Act as primary customer interface/contact. Conduct regular meetings with clients to ensure clarifications and meet specific requirements in a timely manner. Document and report project progress to the project stakeholders.
