We have openings for Extrusion Operator . In this role, you will operate an extruder machine in a safe manner and produce quality product with minimal scrap, meet production schedules and keep work area clean. The starting pay potential for this position can be up to $22.00/hour depending on prior experience.
Additionally, you will be responsible for the following:
+ Run Equipment : you will run an extruder machine to create film. You will perform any light maintenance that is needed on assigned machine and communicate any major issues to supervisor/lead.
+ Follow Instructions: you will read, understand and follow all work instructions to produce product that meet standards (production, scrap and quality).
+ Ensure Compliance: you will ensure departmental compliance with all certification requirements and will maintain good housekeeping practices in accordance with AIB/ISO standards. You will maintain quality of products being produced at or above the required specifications.

**Major Function:**
Responsible to operate converting bag machines in a safe manner and produce quality product with minimal scrap, meet production schedules and keep work area clean.
**Primary Duties:**
+ Perform timely and thorough quality checks throughout the shift and record them on your shift report. Packer/Inspectors are required to perform quality checks every ½ hour.

Job Description
As a Machine Assistant, you will support machineoperators in all aspects of the press operation, including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommending improvements.
Duties and Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:
The finishing operator is responsible for the machine setup, adjustments, make-readies, assist with maintenance, troubleshooting quality issues, and operation of their assigned folding gluing machine. While operating the machine, they are responsible for safely and efficiently manufacturing high quality folding cartons at or above target run speeds while minimizing waste and downtime. The machineoperator is the leader of the crew and oversees the activities of the feeder packers working on that machine. The operator must obtain and review the job ticket for items, quantities, caliper of the paperboard, and any special instruction that is informational for running the order to specification. The case specification must also be reviewed to make sure that the instructions are clear and concise prior to running the order. The operator is responsible for ensuring all make-readies are put on as quickly as possible. The operator inspects the product quality including folded score caliper, proper gluing and stacking, carton and score alignment, and case fit, and ensures that the machine is in good running condition. The operator ensures that the Leary glue and mix detection system is constantly functioning correctly. The operator is also responsible for shutting down the machine if it is to be left unattended. This position reports to the Finishing Lead, Shift Supervisor and Finishing Manager.
