Essential Tasks/Duties

Threads materials from parent roll through guides and rollers to cutters, gluer, printer, folding device, or electric sealer.
Starts machine, observes operation, and adjusts machine to ensure uniform shearing, printing, folding, gluing, or sealing of continuous roll of material into finished bags.
May insert shaft into core of parent roll and secure with steel collars, using hand tools, and mount roll onto machine, using hoist.
Operates machine in proper manner, maintaining high production and a quality product, with a minimum of waste, while maintaining set goals of machine speeds
Diagnoses problems on machines and corrects immediately, to keep smooth production flow.
Performs daily maintenance on machine including: oiling machine, cleaning drum area of machine, re-taping, and scraping down.
Ability to multi-taskas well aswork in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Adheres and maintains equipment to all GMP and AIB regulations at all times.
Other duties as assigned.

General Purpose

What You Will Do:

JOB SUMMARY: The Production Control Manager role has overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, and control of manufacturing product flow. He/she ensures the correct amount of goods and services are produced timely, efficiently, at the right cost and quality level. The scope of the job includes, but is not limited to; order planning, customer service, production coordination and shipment forecast and planning. This position is also responsible for materials management, shipping and receiving. Partner directly with HSE, as needed, to ensure adherence to safety and environmental standards. - Ensure desired level of employee engagement within the Production Control and Material Management Team. This includes developing and supporting a culture of listening and responding to employee issues, taking decisive actions, recognizing excellent performance, and holding employees accountable for undesirable behaviors. - Ensure achievement of quality goals, ensuring employees are properly trained on quality standards.
