What You'll Do:
To provide speech therapy services to patients as prescribed by the physician.
To assist patients with speech, language, oral and pharyngeal sensor motor function, hearing, balance and their undergoing processes.
To promote and assist patients in a progression of care to achieve optimum patient involvement and independent maintenance of their needs in the least restrictive environment.
To ensure quality and safe delivery of speech pathology services.
To ensure that speech pathology services reflecting AdvantageCare Rehabilitation's mission and standards are provided in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
About You:
You have a Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC) Required
You are Licensed or Eligible for licensure in the state in which practicing

Position Overview:

Manage a manageable caseload (approx. 50-55 students), conducting thorough, individualized evaluations to accurately diagnose a diverse range of communication disorders.
Develop and implement effective, data-driven Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that are truly tailored to student needs.
This full-time role offers a flexible schedule choice between a Hybrid Model (4 days onsite, 1 day remote/telehealth) or a 5-day onsite workweek.
Qualifications:
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or Hearing & Speech (Required)
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CF) status
Valid CA-SLPAB Speech Language Pathologist License or eligible for Licensure

Document patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes in a timely and accurate manner.

Stay up-to-date with the latest research and techniques in speech therapy.
Job Conditions:
The ability to drive
Hearing, eyesight, and physical dexterity must be sufficient to perform a physical assessment of the patient's condition and to perform patient care
On occasion, may be required to bend, stoop, reach and move patient weight up to 250 pounds; lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

Strong knowledge of speech-language disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
Experience in outpatient settings preferred but not required.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Minimum Requirements
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
