Schedule: Sunday-Wednesday 8:30PM-7:00AM

This position is in the Processing facilities. Employees perform the more routine duties while learning processing policies and procedures

+ Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, general maintenance, troubleshoot and repair of production machines, conveyors systems and supporting equipment; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions.

+ Complete and document with accuracy all required forms

+ Maintains continuity between maintenance by documenting and/or communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

+ Monitor and correct situations which activate the HACCP alarming control system

+ Maintains equipment, parts and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.

+ Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.

+ Adjusts functional parts of equipment by using hand tools, measuring devices, levels and straightedges.

+ Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing technical publications, establishing personal networks, etc.

+ Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations.

+ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications:• Must be at least 18 years of age• Adjusts functional parts of equipment by using hand tools, measuring devices, levels, and straight edges.• Ability to maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.• Proven mechanical / electrical aptitude as tested with Herbruck's approved test through training department• Able to work around moving machinery comfortably.• Working in a farm environment with various conditions.• Does not own or maintain routine contact with swine or birds.

Physical Demands:• Ability to perform essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodations.• Capable of working weekends and maintaining a flexible schedule. This includes regularly scheduled shifts Saturday and Sunday as well as holidays. (Being on Call).• Ability to remain standing and/or walking for extended periods of time on concrete floors.• Ability to stoop, bend, climb, and lift at least 50 lbs. continuously throughout the day.

Process Technician - Maintenance - Franklin PA

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure all safety procedures are being followed.
• Perform repairs, installations, adjustments, and modifications to all types of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Dismantles, cleans, repairs, replaces, installs, maintains, assembles and lubricates electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

REQUIRED

• High School Diploma required; Technical Training/Associate Degree preferred with electrical focus.
• Must possess working knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and be able to weld and acetylene burn.
• Must be willing to work from heights.
• Qualifications for this position will be confirmed by electrical testing.
• Applicant must be willing to advance their knowledge and skills as new technology and methods are introduced.
• Must meet the ANSI Fall Protection Requirement.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts (including weekends) and overtime.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime.

PREFERRED

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, well organized and the ability to prioritize tasks and make appropriate decisions.
• Willing to work in a fast paced, every changing work environment.

Engineering and Maintenance Technician
Lineage Bakery, (a business unit within Lineage Logistics) located in Centralia, WA, manufactures frozen bakery products. Maintenance and Engineering Technicians are responsible for maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, and electrical systems.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Repair and troubleshoot all manufacturing equipment such as dough mixers, dough sheeting line, conveyors, and packaging equipment.

• Maintain preventative and predictive maintenance program.

• Complete daily work order tasks and instructions and ensure all performed work is logged into the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)

Minimum Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) include:

• Experience maintaining manufacturing systems and/or processing equipment in an automated plant; certification from technical training program accepted in lieu of experience

• Excellent problem solving and critical thinking in pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical control circuits

• Able to work a flexible schedule and/or overtime as needed 4/10 Maintenance schedule

• Experience working at heights, LOTO, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Requirements (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) include:

• Familiar with computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) or E-Maintenance

• Knowledgeable in programmable logic controllers (PLC) and variable frequency drives (VFD)

• Experience welding and fabrication

Work Environment:

• Fast paced work environment with, in and around bakery/frozen dough machinery

• Temperature controlled environment of 65-68 degrees Fahrenheit

• Hearing protection required, and provided, in manufacturing areas.

• All required maintenance and engineering tools provided
