A minimum of High School Diploma with specialization in industrial or vocational trades preferred. 2. 1-2 years of technical school, or on the job experience preferred. 3. Specific exposure to an equipment or maintenance environment. 4. Knowledge of basic hand tools for general equipment repair. 5. Equipment systems experience a plus. 6. Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred. 7. Professional oral and written interpersonal communications. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. The Preventative Maintenance Technician will work closely with the maintenance team and assist with departmental duties. You will perform scheduled maintenance tasks, including filter changes, cleaning, safety checks, and part replacements, following all standards and manufacturer guidelines. Experience in one or more repair trade areas, including general carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliances. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products and ability to learn and adapt to changing technology utilized in role. Basic understanding of work order management software Knowledge of building systems and strong understanding of preventative maintenance principles and practices Familiarity with safety regulations and building codes Ability to move heavy objects, reach high and low areas, and use manual tools/equipment.
