Co-ops will join high-performing project teams developing new manufacturing platforms to produce mRNA therapeutics and vaccines for clinical trials and commercial licensure. You'll apply your educational background while gaining hands-on skills in mRNA synthesis, lipid nanoparticle (LNP) assembly, and drug-product formulation, and you'll deepen your understanding of control strategies to ensure processes consistently deliver medicines of the highest quality. Within Tech Dev, Nucleic Acid Process Development designs, characterizes, and scales robust processes for mRNA drug substance-from template generation and in-vitro transcription to purification and bulk drug substance. The team defines critical parameters and control strategies, optimizes yield and impurity profiles, and transfers processes to GMP manufacturing to enable clinical and commercial supply.
