Arcadis is looking for a Principal Process Mechanical / Wastewater Engineer with 10 years of experience to join our Resilience Water Team in Tampa, Florida! This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated engineer to join our team locally with support from one of the best-qualified municipal consulting firms in the country. Role accountabilities:
The Principal Process Mechanical / Wastewater Engineer would be a critical member of our Resilience Water Team and be expected to lead and manage project delivery within the municipal Water / Wastewater market of this region. This professional position offers significant growth opportunities for advancement as you manage delivery teams and build strong client relationships. You will be part of a dynamic team of engineers, leading wastewater treatment process and mechanical design projects and helping our clients develop sustainable and equitable solutions to the challenges faced by the water industry.
* Provide leadership, technical knowledge and experience to further develop our design team capabilities.
* Serve as design manager and lead project tasks, in collaboration with project managers and clients, in the planning, design, permitting and construction of wastewater and/or reclaimed water facilities including but not limited to treatment facilities and conveyance systems as well as creating and/or overseeing the preparation of construction documents (drawings and specifications) and permit applications, as well as handling construction oversight/administration for both new construction and for rehabilitation work.
* Lead preparation of detailed engineering calculations and analysis and utilize design software, as needed, to solve complex issues.
* Manage and lead condition assessment evaluations for wastewater system assets including treatment facilities, pipelines and pump/lift stations using a variety of approaches and technologies.
* Develop and meet scope, delivery schedules and project budgets for each assignment.
* Work directly with project managers and area managers to determine needs and provide solutions and participate, as needed, in the preparation of winning proposals and successful presentations.
* Strengthen client relationships through professionalism and technical expertise in all client meetings.
* Supervise and support the work of others and mentor junior level engineer and design/drafting technical staff.
* Ensure project compliance with all Arcadis practices and quality and safety standards.
* Travel (up to 20%) may be required to conduct project meetings, site visits, client meetings, , general planning purposes or to oversee construction activities, depending on project needs.
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications
At least 10 years of experience in wastewater treatment and design is required, including experience leading design projects and managing multi-disciplinary design teams. A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Environmental Engineering, or a related field, is required. Additionally, holding a Professional Engineer (PE) License in Florida.
Key Skills/Attributes
We are looking for a candidate with strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills, along with excellent technical writing abilities. Should have experience managing the preparation, review, and approval of project drawings, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, permit applications, RFIs, as-built drawings, and other relevant design and construction documents. Strong client relationship skills are essential, as well as a proven track record of successfully delivering various engineering projects that meet client expectations.
Preferred Qualifications
It is preferred to have over 15 years of experience in engineering and consulting, with a primary focus on the wastewater municipal market. Ideally having design, permitting, and construction experience with water and wastewater treatment systems, as well as distribution, conveyance, and pumping and storage facilities in Florida. Excellent technical engineering and task management skills are crucial. A Master's degree in Mechanical, Environmental, or Civil Engineering, or a related field, is preferred. Additionally, active participation in regional or national professional associations is highly desirable.

The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for providing process engineering and tooling support for the assembly of electronic circuit card assemblies and electronic "box build" assemblies to help ensure optimal production flow of product. Additionally, will generate production layout/work instructions for our production team that will support this objective.
Responsibilities:
Designs, develops, troubleshoots and documents various mechanical & electro-mechanical processes and operations used in the manufacture of electronic products
Plans and performs complex process engineering assignments, with assistance as needed, in the research, design, development, troubleshooting, upgrading and documentation of major manufacturing processes
Evaluates new material and process techniques to determine economic and/or quality impact on company products, reviews inputs from suppliers, design engineering and manufacturing and reports results to management

Compiles and evaluates process control & test data to define capabilities and variables for process or product specifications

Generates procedures, deviations, purges, and other process documentation
Evaluation, approval, implementation and verification of ECO's
Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
Minimum two years of process engineering experience with electronic components and assemblies in a high reliability industry
Possess an understanding of high-mix/low-volume manufacturing
Hands on technical experience with SMT processes, soldering and testing requirements
Knowledgeable with PCB Assembly Design for Manufacturability
Hands-on experience with electromechanical assembly processes
Experience designing box build cell layouts
Experience with document collection, hardware hierarchy and specification reviews with customers
Knowledge of data collection and statistical techniques including ability to implement Statistical Process Control
Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma principles and application methods
