Job Description:
A day in the life of a Business Process Reengineering Intern, a fully remote role at SpartanNash, is never the same. In this role, you will gain experience across many functions of the company.
What You'll Do
Participate in professional development opportunities such as: tours of our warehouses and retail stores, community volunteering, team building, executive speakers Participate in process development sessions and assist in capturing As-Is and To-Be process notes / issues / action items
Work with Subject Matter Experts to identify, gather and analyze data pertinent to measuring process performance Draft process documents, including process flows and work instructions Draft communications to Distribution Centers to request and / or provide information related to process improvements
Create polls to collect data from Distribution Centers / remote teams Schedule conference calls and Teams meetings
Participate in weekly project team meetings Update and organize file structure for storing process documentation
Responsible to complete or participate in at least one strategic project during the internship and give a short presentation to the executive team that showcases the project. Participate in learning opportunities that may include tours of our warehouses and retail stores, a community service event (such as SpartanNash Expo, Helping Hands, or Special Olympics) Attend workshops for developing skills, team building, etc.
