Evaluates, promotes and administers ideas submitted by logistics employees. Quality Improvement Applies logistics and quality control techniques including, but not limited to Six Sigma, Lean, TQM and SPC methodologies to address issues such as operational/quality process improvement and facility design or layout. Leads and provides support in the design and development of quality improvement metrics for distribution. Provides support and expertise in implementing best practices, developing and implementing quality improvement programs, test plan creation and execution, performance modeling and measurements, and other quality process improvement and assessment initiatives. SUMMARY: This internship offers a unique opportunity for a junior or senior-level Chemical Engineering student to gain hands-on experience in process engineering within a renewable diesel production facility. Interns will work alongside experienced engineers to support plant operations, troubleshoot process issues, and contribute to real-world projects focused on safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
