The New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking for a Word Processing Intern to support the Word Processing team. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,200 lawyers located in 16 offices in six countries.
The Word Processing Intern will work closely with the Administrative Services department to assist with the input, editing, and filtering of digital documents. Including but limited to tasks such as excel input, document conversion, and utilizing various management platforms.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical, reading and writing skills and be able to maintain confidential information at all times. This a great opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a law firm environment. Candidates should be available to commit to a remote weekend work schedule with requirement to come in office periodically for i.e. (Training).
Responsibilities
• Convert Adobe PDF into Word and format per Willkie standard - using DocXtools & Innova numbering/TOC QuickFills
• Format Word files per Willkie standards - applying Innova numbering/TOC
• Inputting information into PowerPoint, Excel, and Word files
• Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Must be in the process of completing an undergraduate or graduate degree
• Ability to work Saturdays and Sundays
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint
• Must be proficient in Adobe
• Must have strong organizational and time management skills while maintaining a strong attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to build interpersonal relationships
• Knowledge of Innova numbering & TOC using QuickFills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Previous office experience is a plus

The salary range for this role represents the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Instill proper data collection and statistical process control
