Experience: 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, planning, or estimating (Aerospace industry preferred).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints and understanding GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Highly knowledgeable of aerospace-grade materials (Aluminum, Stainless, Titanium, Nickel alloys, Inconel, etc.)
Highly knowledgeable of outside processes and finishes (heat treat, plating, chemical coatings, topcoat applications, etc.)
Education: Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering. Equivalent work experience in manufacturing engineering and production may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Communication: Ability to collaborate effectively with customers, shop floor machinists, and management.
Preferred Skills
Experience with CAD/CAM software (Discus, Enovia, CATIA, Mastercam).
Knowledge of AS9100 quality standards.
Background in small-batch or high-precision component manufacturing.
Ability to multitask and change gears quickly, working in a fast-paced environment.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and critical thinking
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with active listening. Must be fluent in English.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Excellent attendance and time management.
Standing, sitting, and bending for extended periods in a machine shop/office environment.
Compensation is dependent on experience and is evaluated regularly based on merit and performance. Compensation is hourly non-exempt with a wage range of $33.00 - $48.00 per hour. Upon completion of the probationary period, benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Short and Long-Term Disability, 401(k), and voluntary supplemental insurance options.
