Boeing San Antonio is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer (Entry-Level or Associate) to become part of the F-15 EPAWSS Production Engineering team in San Antonio, TX.
Candidates should be comfortable working in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment and must be able to operate within a multi-functional team, coordinating with various departments.
The successful candidate will join the Manufacturing Engineering team where they will provide engineering support for manufacturing build processes.
Position Responsibilities:
Supports the manufacturing planning in a production/MRO environment and implements manufacturing plans on the factory floor
Develops manufacturing concepts and strategies to support business objectives
Develops, implement, and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration
Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies
Performs producibility assessments for part or product designs
Provides producibility input to design manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules
Develops integrated work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments
Validates and ensures production readiness of solutions to complex problems
Investigates and resolves manufacturing related issues of significant impact to performance, cost or schedule
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement
Level 2: 2+ years of work related experience and a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of work related experience and technical education
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Experience in production or MRO planning
Aircraft/aerospace industry experience. Familiarity with manufacturing operations, manufacturing planning, engineering drawings and specifications
Knowledge of manufacturing planning systems (GOLDesp) and ship side installation support preferred
