Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with operations to perform value stream mapping, conduct time motion study to identify opportunities for work process improvements, and suggest quality and productivity improvement measures to enhance operational efficiency
Perform Lean Six Sigma review to map current state, capture team utilization and throughput to identify Non-Value Adds (NVA), process gaps and redundancies, hand-offs, and perform cost-benefit analysis for deploying process improvement initiatives
Develop and maintain scorecard and other tools to measure the success of process improvement initiatives
Create and periodically review metrics to capture operational performance more efficiently
Provide training/working sessions to junior team members on various business process analysis and process improvement approaches using business process reengineering and improvement (BPR/BPI) tools
Provide guidance to project/program managers on the most effective, efficient use of resources to ensure consistent productivity across teams
Facilitate workshops for operations managers focused on critical thinking, brainstorming, and business process design to capture improvement opportunities

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:
The Supplier Quality Surveillance Engineer is responsible supporting Procurement in the implementation and execution of Procurement Supplier Quality Inspections and audits.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Perform basic to moderately complex quality assurance and quality control shop inspections and audits to ensure critical materials and engineered equipment purchased meet or exceed our customer's and contract quality and workmanship expectations
Assist in ensuring the subcontracts or corporate agreements for good and services meet Rosendin Procurement quality standards and customer's expectations
Require a working core understanding of Rosendin electrical equipment and materials related to fabrication, testing, and functionality
Independently read, understand, and analyze basic foundational equipment specifications, drawings, and provide feedback in regard to recommended supplier testing and inspections
Report to management and Project personnel about manufacturing problems, and
assist in identifying root cause issues and feedback on corrective resolutions to these problems
Communicate inspection and audit results, both verbally and written, and recommend
corrective actions
Have a thorough knowledge of Procurement quality procedures, documents, and
reporting structuresx
Assist Rosendin Procurement in Supplier/Subcontractor prequalification by providing
input on the fabricator's quality program by performing basic to moderately complex supplier audits/assessments.
Provide support to Divisions and projects in overseeing fabricator and subcontractor
quality as needed
Review basic to moderately complex Supplier/Subcontractor Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) and assist in developing corrective action plans. Coordinate with Quality Managers to support approve final disposition and sign off NCR's
Provide input to Rosendin Procurement in rating the overall quality performance of
suppliers and subcontractors
Support effective supplier and cross-functional relationships, partnership, and collaboration
Assist in program, process, and policy improvement support and feedback
Skilled in written and verbal communications to include
documentation of pre-fabrication meetings, updating pre-fabrication checklists, writing
basic to moderately complex inspection/audit reports
Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
Required Electrical Engineering degree with comparable direct experience/degree/certification follows:
4 years applicable work experience in professional supplier quality
2 years applicable work experience in professional supplier quality with 2-year technical/associate's degree in electrical technology
0-1 years applicable work experience with 4-year bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
Broad working knowledge of all design/craft disciplines and engineered equipment/materials associated with renewable energy and electrical projects and must be familiar with their special processes, inspection, and testing techniques
Must be familiar with electrical procurement and vendor surveillance procedures as well as working knowledge of construction industry codes and standards related to the manufacture and testing of electrical components/systems such as IEEE, IECC, NEC, NFPA, NESC, IBC, IFC, etc.)
Be detail oriented, Effective time management and organizational skills
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Must be team player but able to work independently, to meet intense deadlines, goals and objectives
The position may require up to 85% travel and may require occasional travel outside of the USA
WORKING CONDITIONS
General work environment - sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning

About the Role
Caterpillar's Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Order-to-Delivery (MSOD) Intern program seeks students currently enrolled in a four-year university to work alongside manufacturing professionals to learn and apply themselves to project work within their teams.

JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for the design, engineering, and implementation of designs for process/ chemical systems within industrial facilities.
JOB DUTIES:
Proficient in designing piping systems that transport gases, chemicals, and liquids within the industrial facility. Selection of appropriate materials, sizing pipes, and ensuring efficient flow rates.
Create detailed piping layouts.
Develop process flow diagrams, process, and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), system layout plans (optimizing space utilization and ensuring efficient workflow), equipment sizing and selection(such as pumps, compressors, and heat exchangers), and associated specification write-ups.
Execute process design from conceptual design and criteria development through construction document production and provide engineering support during construction.
Serve as lead process engineer for select projects, including supervising assigned mechanical drafting and engineering resources.
Prepare cost estimates as needed for piping systems.
Perform field observations and obtain information on existing conditions on select projects.
Interface with multiple engineering disciplines, project management, system owners, vendors and contractors via phone, email, and live meetings.
Perform engineering calculations and communicate on PC system.
Design chemical process systems utilizing pressure loss and stress analysis programs.
Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for process systems, and continue to broaden and deepen your own expertise in the process engineering and construction field.
Contribute to monthly mechanical project controls reports.
Actively identify and manage risk for clients and the company.

Robotic Paint Engineer
Process engineer job in San Antonio, TX
International is looking for a Robotics Paint Engineer to join their team in San Antonio! The Robotics Paint Engineer will lead the design, development, and implementation of robotic systems for paint applications, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and reliability. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand paint process requirements and translate them into robotic programming strategies.
Responsibilities
+ Program and optimize robotic systems, including Fanuc robots, for various paint applications, ensuring seamless integration with existing production lines
+ Conduct testing and validation of robotic systems to ensure performance meets quality and safety standards
+ Troubleshoot and debug robotic systems, identifying and resolving technical issues to minimize downtime and maximize productivity
+ Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends in robotic paint applications, continuously seeking opportunities for improvement and innovation
+ Provide technical support and training to production staff on the operation and maintenance of robotic systems
+ Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source and evaluate robotic equipment and components, ensuring compatibility and reliability

Orders veneers and hardwoods, as well as veneer mapping. Manages and issues veneers, as needed to the allotted monuments.
Responsible for assigned project production planning and layout, organizational set up, progress reporting and departmental coordination to ensure a successful project completion.
Provides technical oversight to a broad range of projects while leveraging emerging technologies, innovation, and creativity.
