Position Description: Lead and manage sustainability projects in accordance with District and program policies and procedures for College construction bond operations. Implement the electrification of central plants and other building systems outlined in the Board of Trustees' Clean Energy Resolution passed in July 9, 2020. Apply knowledge of Sustainable Building Principles and Standards to assist with complex systems level issues. Support districtwide energy master planning, carbon reduction, grid resiliency, and electrification initiatives. Apply knowledge of energy and environmental sustainability approaches, such as LEED credits, and its related impacts to operational efficiency. Understand Title 24 and ASHRAE recommendations. Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams in conjunction with Project Managers, to meet project requirements and timelines.
