Capital Projects & Equipment Upgrades
Support CAPEX initiatives related to equipment upgrades, redundancy, and reliability improvements.

Metrics, KPIs & Continuous Improvement
Establish and track reliability KPIs including MTBF, MTTR, availability, and downtime trends.

Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline).
Experience in reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or equipment reliability within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting maintenance, downtime, and performance data.
Working knowledge of preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance practices.
Ability to lead root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives.

Position Summary

The Processing Technician supports the receipt, handling, processing, blending, packaging, and bulk loading of vegetable oil. This role operates and monitors food-grade processing equipment and utilities systems in a refinery environment.
Technicians must be flexible with scheduling, as work may include days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime , sometimes with limited notice based on operational needs.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Operate computer-controlled processing equipment, boilers, and wastewater systems
Sample, measure, inventory, and monitor tank levels and temperatures
Blend and transfer oils using valves; verify heat tracing and line clearing
Monitor wastewater systems, including pH levels and chemical dosing
Receive, store, and handle chemicals, ingredients, and supplies
Perform equipment startup, shutdown, freeze protection, and severe weather preparations
Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor maintenance and repairs
Respond to and clean oil spills when required
Operate forklifts and other industrial equipment
Clean and maintain processing areas and equipment
Support special projects and additional operational needs as assigned
