Responsible for the preventative maintenance, repairing, and continual operation of all Central Laundry Facility equipment. The Laundry Plant Engineer II assists with the daily laundry production and adjusts the equipment as necessary to ensure the quality of the finished linen and terry items. Responsible for closely monitoring the equipment throughout the production process to ensure operational down-time is minimized. Reports directly to the Laundry Chief Engineer. This position will be a full-time and onsite contract opportunity in Hampton, VA The work schedule for this role will be M-F 6:00AM - 2:30PM. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: * Design portions of a project using relevant office software, modeling and Civil 3D technology * Complete calculations using engineering formulas and skills and/or utilizes computers in order to solve problems * Prepare specifications materials through the use of research and manufacturing catalogs to specify materials, installation, inspection and payment of items specific to a project * Work to complete design details and plan sets * Perform research and writes objective summary reports which are used in the completion of the project work or inspection * Assist in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates * Complete field observation, inspection and data collection duties as directed by senior engineering staff * Communicate with client staff and internal design team as directed by senior engineering staff Skills/Requirements of a successful candidate include but are not limited to: * A bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related degree * Ideal candidates would have two to ten years of experience in land development civil engineering including residential neighborhood design as well as commercial, mixed use and public land development * EIT preferred * Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a must

The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) is responsible for the assessment, development, and evaluation of manufacturing and quality capabilities of Liebherr's supply base. Maintains smooth operations of materials suppliers. The SQE applies quality methods, statistical analysis, understanding of requirements, problem solving, and development of the supplier's processes and capabilities. May perform supplier systems and process audits, value engineering activities, cost down projects and implement new strategies. This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
