Responsibilities


Hamilton Company is seeking a Lead Process Technician. We are looking for those with the ability to work accurately and who will work in our Injection Molding Production area. They will perform a variety of tasks associated with automated manufacturing in a clean room environment. The Process Technician will provide the department with technical expertise as may be needed for injection mold plastics and maintain associated molding equipment.

Perform routine production duties and preventative maintenance Adherence to product quality standards and procedures Responsible for daily operation of injection molding machines, OEM and third-party automation machines and associated standalone equipment. Interact effectively with all support groups and fellow employees Responds to and troubleshoots machine errors to identify root cause and implements resolution actions with an emphasis on reduction of machine downtime. Ensures injection molding and automation machines have adequate supply of raw material to allow for continuous operations. Completes daily documentation pertaining to daily activities, downtime tracking, quality-related testing, and shift output efficiency. Performs support functions in a manual capacity on production lines without fully automated processes. Responsible for the timely completion and adequacy of assigned tasks for performance and compliance with company policies, procedures, standards and associated instructional guides. Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the cleanroom to meet standards and Hamilton Company procedures. Accountable for regular and consistent attendance All other duties as assigned

Ability to work accurately in a fast paced environment to meet quality and quantity quotas Able to quality check finished product and send unsatisfactory items to rework Proven experience with safe production practices Stable work history Ability to work with others and and support supervisors Must be able to read and follow detailed manufacturing instructions



Education/Experience



High School Diploma or Equivalent Previous experience in manufacturing environment preferred Technical Certificate and/or LEAP or CTE Program Completion Preferred 3-5 lead experience preferred

The Surgical Reprocessing Tech Lead coordinates workflow and assists with staff supervision, orientation and assignment of duties within the surgical reprocessing department. Monitors instrument
processing and sterilization for quality assurance.

Assists supervisor and/or manager with overseeing Decontamination,

Sterilization, Prep& Packing, Control Desk, Case Picking activities, implementing short-term solutions as needed; developing and recommending long term resolutions to the Supervisor and Manager. Document and reports all departments/activities as they occur to be communicated to the Supervisor, Manager and oncoming charge staff. Recommends changes to work processes or systems according to ensure the quality of services provided. Trains and maintains staff awareness in Lean manufacturing principles, keeping work area clean and organized. Working towards the goal -To provide every patient in the OR with a clean, complete and sterile tray from SRP.

Maintains inventory of instruments, maintains trays, update instruments in trays in collaboration with OR Team Leaders. Identifies trends in instruments that are frequently replaced, what can be done to control

loss.

**Position Requirements:**

**Minimum Education Required:** High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience or education

**Preferred:** Administrative or technical background acquired through completion of 2 - 3 years of college

**Minimum Experience:**

**Required:** 1-2 years of previous job-related experience

**Preferred:** 3-5 years of previous job-related experience

**Licensure/Certifications:**

**Preferred: Certified Sterile Processing & Distribution Technician**

**Other:** IAHCSMM or CBSPD Certification

This is a full-time position that will join our Knowledge Management Team to help lead the improvement, delivery and maintenance of our knowledge vision and strategy, for the Video Security and Access Control business unit.. This position will act as a process and technical lead for Knowledge initiatives.
