Your Impact * Demonstrate teamwork by collaboration with project managers to identify timelines and processing plans to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely flow of data. * Work with project managers and field crews to establish efficient collection plans for projects that limit potential issues. * Processing raw data through Pospac and Riegl Software and delivering a production ready point clouds. * Producing reports that show precision and accuracy of the projects point cloud within Pospac, Riegl software suite, terra solid, lastools and other software. * Identifying issues in accuracy in the point cloud and reports that need more adjustments or recollections. * Working with support for Pospac and Riegl to solve any issues. * Develop metrics for processing and collaborate with project managers during proposal phase. * Maintain backlog calendar for processing and adjust accordingly. * Maintain SOP documentation. * Who You Are Required Qualifications: * BS degree in Surveying, Engineering Technology or related areas. * 5-7 years' experience of processing of LiDAR data (mobile and/or UAS) in: * Pospac or equivalent software * Riegl software suite or equivalent software * Terrascan, MARS, LASTools, or equivalent software. * Terra match, basemap or equivalent software. * Proficient with basic functionality of a GIS software Arc, GQIS, or equivalent. * Understanding of survey methodology as it pertains to capturing control for a LiDAR survey. * Excellent communication skills with a special emphasis on reporting of schedule and troubleshooting of issues. * Flexibility in adapting to changing priorities. * Basic understanding of computer hardware as it pertains to industry software packages and their computer hardware requirements. * Proficiency in understanding coordinate projections. * Meticulous attention to detail. * Able to work occasional overtime when needed. * Ability and desire travel to applicable conferences and trainings. * Able to develop tracking mechanisms to assist self and inform others of data flow for multiple projects processing at the same time. * Assist with troubleshooting of LiDAR equipment in the field.
