A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this role is $85K annually. **What We Need From You** An O & E Processor receives and processes incoming orders from customers requesting an Owner and Encumbrance report (O & E) for real estate property. An O & E report includes the legal description of a property along with open voluntary and involuntary liens, pertaining to the property and/or property owner, and recorded in the county in which the property is located, along with the deed(s) vesting ownership and related documents, which may include filed bankruptcy petitions. This position requires processing a high volume of requests in a timely manner. This is an in-office position, Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm.
**Responsibilities:**

About your role:
The DMV Processor is responsible for processing and filing paperwork to establish or transfer the ownership of a motor vehicle. This position handles registration paperwork like titles and license plates, filing tax documents, and occasionally sending out bills or contracts for signatures. They will submit all appropriate paperwork for public records and help new owners understand the process of changing the title on a vehicle and what they need to do to finish the process.
Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:
Prepares tax and title documents; prints and processes check for all title work and refund checks for overcharges on title work.
Checks in new titles from auctions & wholesalers, new deal from buyers' orders, and trade titles and create deal paperwork for each purchase.
Processes titles for lease pay-offs, loan pay-offs, and refinances.
Posts checks or cash for the sale of vehicles.
Submits all legal transfer documents to the DMV.
From delivery, complete the title work on each vehicle sold and send it to the prospective county courthouse so the purchaser can obtain a license and title.
Calls financial institutions to obtain vehicle pay-off amounts on vehicles traded in on a sale if there is a lien against that vehicle and pay off promptly.
For vehicles acquired without a clear title, obtains a copy registration and/or signed odometer statement as expediently as possible.
Assists with other duties as assigned.
Follow scheduled hours as needed, defined by your manager.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Type of Experience Needed to be Successful:
