Receive and process electronically transmitted specimens. Prepare specimens for testing via centrifugation and distribution. Ensure specimen identification and integrity through visual inspection. Resolve order and specimen issues with providers and technical team. Load specimens onto laboratory instruments. Assist with automation system troubleshooting. Prepare specimens for repeat or additional testing; handle referrals. File, store, and discard specimens appropriately. Process specimens from Sandridge and other hospital locations.
