Day to day, the processors take factual information and organize it into intelligible, logical, and formatted reports to send to our clients. The insurance carriers rely on the accuracy of our final reports to come to settlement for their specialty and complex claims quickly and fairly.

Position Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for providing construction management, funding and disbursement services for all SBA Construction loans.
Primary Responsibilities:
Recommends Approval or Declination of contractor and construction project. Funds construction and multi-disbursement loans according to Bank and SBA regulations.
Collects and reviews all closing documents related to construction financing under the SBA 7a, SBA 504 and USDA loan programs. Reviews and approves contractor's financials and qualifications.
Prepares and handles the construction loan closing checklist and works with borrowers, contractors, architects and Bank partners to complete closing documents. Ensures loan complies with SBA/USDA Standard Operating Procedures.
Coordinates with the Business Development Officer and Underwriter in structuring loans involving construction and preparing the loan package construction checklist for submission.
Educates existing and new Business Development Officers on how to structure loans involving different levels of construction.
Performs research activities including gathering information on construction laws and regulations in the city and state of the prospective construction project.
Works with third party vendors for cost review. Orders commercial appraisal reports and environmental reports. Interviews Business Development Officer, borrower and contractor in regard to loan request.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

About the Role

Job Description
Our Processors evaluate all information supplied on the mortgage loan application, verify the validity of the information, and assemble a completely documented file to Underwriting and Closing. **Job Description:**
The Consumer Loan Processor III is primarily responsible for providing support to the lending areas by reviewing the accuracy of complex consumer loans from conditional approval to closing. This job is a Loan Originator and performs at least one of the following functions, or advertises or communicates that they can or will perform any of these functions, with an expectation of compensation or monetary gain: takes an application, arranges a consumer credit transaction, assists a consumer in applying or obtaining consumer credit, offer or negotiates consumer credit, otherwise obtains or makes an extension of consumer credit for another person.
**Depth & Scope:**
+ Contacts customers directly to obtain conditions placed by lender or underwriter
