This position requires time management, precise communication and have working knowledge of all major investors and their guidelines. Essential Functions Include: Researches all investor guidelines and is up to date in any and all changes that affect the processing or originating of loans in pipeline. Clears any conditions that require communication to clients or referring partners. Maintains up-to-date pipelines and lead tracker at all times. Coordinates submitted files with Underwriting and Closing to meet file expectations. Follows up on needs list to receive items back in a timely manner. Submits second liens to appropriate investors. Re-discloses files. Must maintain regular attendance. May perform other duties as assigned. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Three years of mortgage processing, underwriting, originating, or a combination of all aspects preferred. Must be able to work 40 hours a week during normal business hours. Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook applications. Must be proficient in Desktop Underwriter/Desktop Originator, Loan Prospector, and Originations systems. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must have a positive attitude and maintain professionalism. Must be dependable, self-motivated and require minimal supervision. Must be proficient with major correspondent and wholesale channels and their guidelines, including their websites and pricing engines. Must be organized and detail oriented. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Duties and responsibilities regularly performed by and assigned to Specimen Processor levels I, II, and III: Adheres to the laboratory's quality and safety standards maintaining quality control and assurance, as well as ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory agencies. Follows cGMP for documentation using ALCOA; ensure regulations pertaining to records, reports and data integrity policies are met. Receive and process incoming samples in preparation of testing following standard operating procedures (SOPs) as directed by regulatory guidelines. Including processing sample cancellations, sample resubmissions and completing sample reconciliation as dictated by workflow. Performs sample centrifugation and sample suitability checks utilizing proper sample handling techniques to ensure validity of test results. Essential Functions Include: Reviews new loan submissions within 24 hours of receipt. Verifies loan is complete using a checklist and accompanying disclosures, documents, and other pertinent reference material. Returns any incomplete loans back to Production Associate II with explanation of any incomplete or incorrect information. Orders and receives verifications of deposit, verifications of employment, appraisal, title, etc. Compiles and processes all documents as received to meet projected close date. Inputs final and validated information and reruns Automatic Underwriting System as applicable for final loan submission. Submits loans to Underwriting as needed for a complete loan file to obtain a clear loan approval. Clears any conditions that require communication to the title companies, appraiser, employers, surveyors, etc. Submits all documents needed to draw closing documents to the Closer. Communicates loan approval from Underwriting to Production Associate II. Maintains up-to-date pipeline. Must maintain regular attendance. May perform other duties as assigned. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years' experience in the mortgage industry. Mortgage industry experience preferred. Must be proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook applications Must be able to work 40 hours a week during normal business hours. Must be results oriented with a strong sense of urgency. Must be organized and detail oriented. Must have a positive attitude and maintain professionalism.
