Payroll Processor
McMillen, Inc. is looking for a Payroll Processor to join the team in the Boise, ID office. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of payroll experience, with a strong background in multi-state payroll.
Responsibilities:
Process in-house payroll on a weekly basis.
Prepare and submit Davis-Bacon/prevailing wage certified payroll reports accurately and on time.
Support the Payroll Manager with processing multi-state payroll, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
Review and verify time sheets, job codes, and cost allocations for accuracy.
Maintain and update payroll records, including new hires, terminations, wage changes, and deductions.
Address and resolve employee payroll inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with accounting and project management teams to support accurate job costing and reporting.
Support payroll-related audits and provide required documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
Associate's or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; or equivalent relevant experience.
3-5 years of payroll experience, preferably in the construction industry.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
In-house payroll processing experience.
Multi-state payroll experience.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with high attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Experience in a construction company environment, including job costing.
Experience with Spectrum (preferred)
Experience with Davis-Bacon/prevailing wage payroll and reporting (preferred)
Compensation Package:
Pay Range: $50,000 - $80,000 (DOE)

What you will do:
Claim Adjudication and Financial Management: Investigates, evaluates, negotiates, and resolves all assigned claims, executing a documented strategy to achieve timely resolution in full accordance with Montana Code Annotated (MCA), established guidelines and industry Best Claim Practices. Calculates and authorizes medical and indemnity benefits within assigned limits and according to Montana Code Annotated Analyzes liability issues and complex risk exposure to properly set, maintain, and annually update claim reserves. Stakeholder Relations and Compliance: Maintains excellent stakeholder communication and customer relations, demanding prompt responses to injured worker and policyholder inquiries, and adequately explaining the workers' compensation claim process in lay terms. Establishes and maintains productive working relationships with internal staff and external partners (attorneys, medical providers, and vendors). As a progressive financial institution, we are seeking a dynamic individual to fulfill the role of Consumer Loan Processor for our Mountain Home Administrative Office.
The Consumer Loan Processor is responsible for processing consumer and small business applications, as well as any future products, to ensure the quality of loan document preparation and funding. Will work closely with our members, branches, Member Services Representatives (MSRs), Underwriters, back office positions and third parties involved in the loan transactions. Will be conducting a pre-close quality control reviews, make sure that underwriting conditions have been met and prepare all pertinent documents needed for each loan accurately and completely. In most cases, will also be responsible for disbursement of loan proceeds.
Duties may also include assisting with post-closing loan quality control review and assisting new team members with understanding the loan documentation process. Also, be working with the title and insurance team to resolve problems with loans.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of one year of similar or related experience. Experience in a consumer loan environment and familiarity with requirements for securing liens on various types of collateral.
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: Must be driven to provide great service and have the ability to effectively and courteously communicate in a fast pace environment.
