Job Title: After School Assistant
Job Type: Part Time, 20-24 hours per week
Pay: $15-17/hour with a $300 Sign-On Bonus!
The After School Assistant supports the daily operations of the After School Program by engaging directly with children to foster their academic, social, and emotional development. Under the guidance of the School Age Supervisor, the Assistant helps implement developmentally appropriate activities, ensures a safe and nurturing environment, and builds positive relationships with children, families, and team members. This role plays a key part in maintaining the quality and consistency of programming while aligning with agency values and licensing standards.
Qualifications:
This position requires a high school diploma or its equivalency, an associate's degree or higher is preferred.
Interest and experience in working with children is preferred.
A valid driver's license is preferred.
Must possess minimum technical skills including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and ability to use standard Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Implementation & Child Engagement
Actively participate in daily program activities while maintaining session flow and structure.
Promote active engagement through meaningful and age-appropriate experiences.
Foster supportive interactions with children using positive guidance and the Reframing Conflict model.
Implement the Plan-Do-Access model and design environments that support various learning styles and developmental levels.
Internal and External Collaboration
Communicate openly and respectfully with team members, families, and site supervisors.
Build strong, positive relationships with children and families to support development and wellbeing.
Represent the program with professionalism and a customer service mindset.
Attend team meetings, required trainings, and agency functions.
Participate in the Youth Program Quality Continuous Improvement process.
Administrative & Operational Support
Assist in developing and delivering lesson plans aligned with program goals.
Accurately complete daily attendance and other documentation in a timely manner.
Share in housekeeping duties and maintain an organized, clean work environment.
Ensure compliance with licensing and safety standards, including maintaining training credentials.

Business Title Spring Semester Student Testing Services Proctor Special Instructions to Applicants Must be able to work a minimum of 10 hours a week. Must be enrolled with a minimum of 5 credit hours per semester.
Seeking student employees to join the Athens campus OHIO Testing Services team starting spring semester. Agent is responsible for overseeing students while they take their required exams and to help ensure academic integrity. Agent would be proctoring computer and paper-based exams and completing other small administrative tasks. All training will be provided by our staff, and you will become certified with vendors before you can enter the testing center to oversee testing, as a requirement of the position.
