Procurement analyst is responsible for reviewing proposals, facilitating descope meetings, confirming award decisions, issuing the contract, negotiating the contract, submitting request for purchase order and assessing all associated change orders. Procurement analyst must ensure compliance with University and Facilities' policies.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include drafting Requests for Proposal, Requests for Information, other procurement related documents, managing the RFP timeline, the distribution of proposals, ensuring compliance with University and CUFO policies, participating in vendor evaluation meetings, facilitating communications of awards, managing contract documents and assisting with the processing of purchase orders and change orders. The Analyst will analyze and evaluate current procurement processes and propose corrective action to streamline and improve these processes. The Analyst will also develop reports for the Manager's review to monitor and ensure appropriate internal controls are in place in regards to the procurement process. Additional duties will include assisting with the sourcing and onboarding of new vendors, updating key performance indicators developed by the Manager to manage the unit's performance, assisting with the documentation of all policies and procedures for the unit, assisting with the management of the University's vendor database that allows for easy and accurate reporting, and assisting with drafting and the execution of all new Facilities contracts and amendments.
