Primary responsibilities include:
• Preparation of technical deliverables required in support of procurement acquisitions required for Engineered Items and Services associated with SRPPF Project.
• Provide technical oversight of Subcontract (AE Firm) prepared procurement related deliverables prepared for acquisition of Engineered Items and Services associated with SRPPF Project.
• Coordinate SRNS review of Supplier prepared drawings, specifications, bills of material, calculations and other Supplier generated records among various SRNS organizations such as Operations, Engineering, Construction, etc.
• Perform Engineering Work Package (EWP) Coordinator responsibilities and track design agencies EWPs.
• Prepare monthly receipt accruals in support of ongoing Services subcontracts.
• Work with assigned Control Account Managers (CAM) to review/approve Supplier invoices and make recommendations for payment to SRNS Accounting/Finance.
• In support of SRNS initiated audits and/or prescribed Factory Acceptance Activities, collaborate with SRNS Cognizant Technical Function (CTF), Quality Assurance Engineering, and/or Engineering Surveillance Team.
• If assigned as STR, oversee Subcontract related work scope performed at Customer jobsite in compliance with Customer specified safety and security program requirements
Subcontractor shall be responsible for the management and execution of assigned programs/projects in accordance with the requirements of plant, and the operating policies and principles. The Subcontractor is accountable for the execution of the work in accordance with the quality standards and required specifications for the project.
3.1.2 Experience / Skills
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical or non-technical field. With minimum of 7 years progressive responsible experience in a nuclear (preferred) or industrial facility.
• Candidate must demonstrate 5 or more years of experience in the field of Mechanical/Process Equipment Acquisitions. Candidate must demonstrate experience creating and revising procurement related documentation in one or more of the following areas: HVAC flow, Process Flow; Rotating Equipment, Piping, and Instrumentation Diagrams; System Descriptions; Mechanical Equipment Lists; Mechanical Equipment Sizing; Material Handling Design; Fire Protection Design; Sizing Calculations, Material acquisition, and Vendor Document Reviews.
• Candidate must be able to perform field walk-downs to document as-installed conditions and to inspect equipment condition.
• Previous SRS Design Engineering experience and working knowledge of SRNS design processes and procedures is preferred.
• Working design experience in a nuclear industry/facility is preferred.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor of Science or Arts in Supply Chain, Business or Engineering (preferred) or 4-5 years relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• Assisting with ordering custom fabricated parts (machine parts, sheet metal parts, weldments, etc.) from a Bill of Materials and part/assembly documentation (3D and 2D)
• Experience working with Machine Shops
