Licensed Life & Health Insurance Producer Location: Any First Mid Location
At First Mid, base salary is one component of our Total Rewards program. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as (but not limited to) education, skills, internal equity, and experience. This position offers additional compensation in the form of short-term incentives (i.e., bonus, incentives, and/or commission). Serves as key relationship manager for FMIG and is responsible for securing new business and retaining existing insurance clients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Serves as insurance producer.
Generates prospects for new business including those through First Mid channels.
Meets with the prospects to build a relationship, gather underwriting information, deliver proposals, and win the business.
Primarily responsible for relationship management, new business development, and client account retention.
Serves as backup to administrative staff in meeting current customer needs.
Develop and maintain a working relationship with team members and various carrier representatives as needed.
Complete training and maintain licensing associated with job function.
Performs related duties as needed.
Qualifications Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent as well as prior successful group benefit sales experience
Valid Insurance License is required.

As a Daybreaker Event Producer & Community Architect ("Producer" for short), you are the face of Daybreaker in your city. Vocalo is looking for a versatile and knowledgeable multimedia content producer to help curate and create the Vocalo experience on air and digitally. There's a focus on Chicago's music scene, sharing stories and helping the audience find their next favorite local artist or group.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced audio producer and editor, a lover of Chicago music and the culture around it, and ready to join a creative and ambitious team. This role will be tasked with producing a weekly show, currently in development, that will incorporate music, artist interviews and audience engagement. The AV Event Specialist is responsible for the setup, operation, and teardown of audiovisual equipment for campus events, meetings, and special programs at MCC. This position also supports occasional audiovisual setup in classrooms. The AV Event Specialist ensures high-quality presentation support with audio, video, and lighting. This service-oriented and technically-savvy role collaborates with colleagues in Conference and Event Services, as well as with faculty, staff, administrators, students, and external partners/clients, to deliver responsive, reliable, and professional AV services.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities
* Set up, operate, and tear down audiovisual equipment for events such as lectures, performances, conferences, meetings, fundraisers, commencement, and live or remote events.
* Operate sound systems, microphones, mixing consoles, projectors, LED displays, lighting systems, cameras, and streaming/recording equipment.
* Provide real-time, immediate live event support, including audio mixing, video switching, lighting control, and troubleshooting during events.
* Support hybrid and virtual events using video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams).
* Coordinate with team members and event contacts to assess AV needs and ensure technical requirements are met.
* Work with IT to maintain, inventory, test, and perform basic repairs on AV equipment.
* Research event technology advancements and make recommendations for any upgrades and enhancements.
* Ensure compliance with accessibility standards (e.g., assistive listening devices, captioning coordination).
* Assist with classroom technology support as needed, including smart classrooms and lecture capture systems.
* Maintain documentation, event schedules, and equipment usage records.
